Geoff Keighley hands on with DualSense controller tomorrow!

Most beautiful controller ever designed at first glance. I might just get one to put into a perspex display case.

In 10 years that pristine thing will be worth several hundred dollars.

I sense that you're being facetious, pardon me if you actually mean it, but this is the first time I find such a discrepancy between the console and its pad. I feel the console looks cool, but the pad, I think it is ugly.

Well the console is beautiful too but the controller is a lesson in sleek design. I think they match up well. Looking forward to seeing the official alternate designs.

The sticks don't have any deadzone. Games usually intentionally do, though.
Do games deliberately design them that way? I remember the difference between the DS4 and The XBox one controller stick control on the first destiny. It was night and day. Same game, different dead zone experience on each console.

Interesting. Eric Lempel was the first one to show off the PS4 UI properly, if I recall. Maybe we will get a glimpse of it in his interview today.

Can't wait. How does it feel Jeff, build quality, battery life. Maybe he will demo it with a few games. He can talk about responsiveness and the haptic feedback. Is the audio better through the speaker? Will he show the create button? Lots to discover to be honest...

Man I miss E3.
It at least they gave you all your gaming news in one week.
Now we're spreading out info for a controller, 3rd party games, 2nd console reveals, what my friends at 2nd party think of my console design....

I wants all the Gaming news... and I want it all at once

I believe they do. The sticks are very sensitive, so if you have even the slightest drift you would get constant input. So games are generally made to disregard the very smallest stick inputs. Not sure why it would be different between console versions though.

Seeing that Sony is letting him show it I now have no hope that there are back-buttons on this controller.
My guess is that we have seen it all and we will just get a feature review of the Mic, feel and feedback.

I do find it a bit crazy that we're getting these events showing a particular (albeit important) piece of hardware. I mean.. if that's all they're showing.. It really is pretty annoying at this point.

This. So much this. This drip-feed of info is really annoying.

I'm waiting for the Power Cable hands-on next week.

Don't worry, we still have the Cooling solution breakdown, the back of the system breakdown, the audio reveal of how whisper quiet the system is or isn't, the UI reveal, The expandable storage reveal, and then MAYBE, just maybe, the price and pre-order reveal.

How old is Geoff? He has grampa wrinkly hands :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Oh yes about this ridges, Is Sony using dual material?
Not just rubbing against the palm, but a good area for grime and bacteria to get stuck in.

Wash your dirty ass hands.

Also, nobody holds the controllers like that pic, so that won't be an issue for the ridge on the palm.

I have to imagine by the time he starts this thing, the controller will already be stained orange from the Doritos.

If someone already made that joke, sue me.

Lack of 1st party out the gate back buttons this next generation is the stupidest thing. Back paddles/buttons are something that should have been normalized this upcoming gen.

Thy did make the joke lol but it's OK he'll just wash the Dorito color off with the highly sugary and toxic mountaindew tht literally can wash off paint 😂😂😂😂

But I love me some 46g of sugar mountain Dew 😭😭

Does this presentation make any SENSE?

HD rumble: Oh, wait, it is a video.
Create button: Oh, wait, can't show the dashboard.
Adaptive triggers: Well, you can certainly press them.

Did Keighley actually give himself one of his own awards? Isn't the point of showing awards that someone else has given you one?
