Geoff Keighley: Top Secret Game no one will see coming.

He does. But he also is by far the worst of the hype offenders needlessly misleading people a great deal of the time. If it were just excitement fine. But it comes off to many people as nothing more than "I know something you don't know!" And then when it is announced it turns out to be the buttons on the Xbox 360 controller being changed or something equally mundane.

Yeah and I get that. He's definitely guilty of overhyping things and all of his "big news" tweets and whatnot should definitely be taken with a grain of salt.

Bingo. If it's something no one sees coming, it's most likely something no one gives a crap about.

Yeah. If they stopped at "top secret game" it would've piqued my interest. No one sees coming means no one wants it. Remember that all that hype about South Park RPG? Total waste of everyone's time.

Hahahah as the poster above said though, we do usually guess before he gets to officially announce:)

But ya I am sure he is probably a nice guy and also into games. Both things are great. And I am also sure he HAS to drum up hits. But damn if I can't stand his pandering anymore. Its just a personal thing I think for me. Not sure why.,

Fanboys of what? No one see it coming!
But it was there in front of us all along!

He, Geoff. Why are you having pre-E3 dinner with Aaron Greenberg?

Lol, this is nothing. Or is it?

No.
Ya that was already posted a couple pages back and I think thats why we moved to MS being the likely company even though Nintendo and a bunch of other companies are there in the area of his cell phone call.

i'm so fucking excited! been waiting for a game based on this forever!

Over the past few days I've seen some great games set for E3. A few great surprises, and other games that look surprisingly good.Over the past few days I've seen some great games set for E3. A few great surprises, and other games that look surprisingly good.

Not really much to see. Just generic, marketing, build-up. It's his job to be full of shit though, so you can't really fault him. Hell, maybe he genuinely thinks some of his crap reveals were worth the hype.

I'm guessing it's something MS-related. Nintendo always plays their trump cards at their conference, not before (well Japanese newspapers usually do that 30 minutes before it starts :D)

Things like Metroid: Other M or potential megatons like Star Fox x Metroid Fusion Saga are announced during the conference itself I would assume.
