Oh shit, I just got my key. Weird.

From my first attempt, too, where I logged in with my e-mail address and then nothing happened - no survey, nothing.

Second time I got the survey and completed it and got the reward message with no code, so I figured I was screwed.

Really weird. Managed to load up the site, punch in the code, and got the Steam key from it. No idea why there was such a long delay.

My download is still going, so I can't try it yet, but TBH those screens look kinda crappy to me. Particularly the environments.

I agree. Maybe it's not in DX11 mode or not everything is turned up.
 
These screens just make me want to win this even more....Around what time does the wave start on those dates? I keep showing up only a few minutes late...lol

Makes me wish I had more to trade than just some DLC and an R3 beta code. :D
 
Thanks OP, I had the key but after trying to redeem at amd.com for an hour, Iforgot all about it until now. Just got the steam key and redeemed it.

What if you bump down AA to 4x and revert the shadows/AO back to Ultra?
 
Got an extra code to redeem. The only way to be fair is randomly choosing between all who PM me, I just hate this first come first serve thing. Please do not offer anything, got the key for nothing and so will you.

I just gave it a go. Everything maxed at 1920x1200 and it runs great. The driving physics feels kind of poor after playing Richard Burns Rally though. ~_~
 
That's another thing that's amazing about this series in general. Even with ow good it looks, it runs a lot better than most other PC games, even the ones that look worse. It's just extremely well optimized but I guess being a racing game helps. But then again, the NFS: Shift series always ran like shit for me.

I'm speaking from experience with Dirt 2 so I'm not sure how Dirt 3 runs, but going by what you guys have said, it's still extremely well optimized.
 
Now that you guys own Dirt 3 on Steam, I wanna see your asses online!!! C'mon don't just play the game a few times and quit. Join us online, because trust me it is DIGITAL CRACK!!!(as are most racing games online).

Not very good at driving games myself. Can you play with assists online?

Another thanks to the OP. You did well.

Maxed out all the settings and runs great. Looks great too. I just got my first gaming rig set up about a month ago, so this is pretty unreal to me.

Unfortunately my experience with racing games consists of Mario Kart and San Fransisco Rush, so I have no clue what I'm doing. I didn't see any clear tutorials in the game, other than assists, but I'm looking forward to actually getting into a more realistic driving game.

Make sure to keep your graphics driver up to date especially if you're using an AMD card. Fixed a few bugs and improved performance even more.

on the amd website, there was a list of dates this contest starts for the different countries. the last start date was when this topic was made. the next one is the 25th. you can find a link if you look in this thread somewhere (i'm too lazy), but i've summed up what the webpage shows already so don't bother.

Those two settings at ultra dropped the fps to 30 at times and the visual difference isn't worth the 30 fps hit. Also, 8x to 4x isn't gonna give you an additional 30 fps to play with.

I honestly wonder if they decided to siphon some of those serials away. Each region was supposed to only get 1800 codes. It seems like they may have robbed from Peter to pay Paul on this. They're giving codes away like candy on this one.
 
If I enter the code into Steam just to see if it works, will it be added to my account or will there be another button prompt where I can cancel it?
