if the folder is shared on your network, you can just "add to library" and point to the folder. itunes is set by default to copy music added to the library

Why do you need to see hidden folders?
That's how I've done it before. I enabled my iPod as a hard drive, and then view the hidden folders which contain all the music files on the other computer. That's how a friend had me do it a while back anyways.

You can use Senuti to copy your iPod's music to the macbook(any folder). Then add to library using iTunes and delete what you uploaded through senuti(itunes copies to music folder).

copy the My Music > iTunes Windows folder over to yourusername/Music/ on your Mac. No hidden folders involved.

.

unless you are like me and dont actually keep your music library on your computer, then you will have to use the program others recommended to get it off your ipod.

also i dont think theres a way to simply maximize a window. u have to drag from the bottom right corner. but after u do that once, it seems like pressing the + button goes in and out of maximized view.

How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer

edit: if you still occasionally connect your ipod to your old computer you may notice some weird effects. The ipod apparently thinks of both computers as being it's 'home'. I noticed on mine that it deletes and recopies all the podcasts whenever I go to the other computer. I think it can be fixed by editing the library id on one of the computers but I've been hesitant to try. I just don't connect the ipod to the old pc anymore...
