You say that like cleavage is a bad thing? I kind of like the art style and game looks pretty fun. Not into multiplayer FPSs anymore though but I would probably have loved this as a teenager. A proper Ghost in the Shell MMO (more eve, less wow) or single player game would be really sweet though.
There are interesting ideas, but this is looking like just another team based shooter sadly...
Incidentally anyone ever play the PS2 or PSP GiTS games?
Coincidentally, I just played it for the first time a couple weeks ago on PCSX2, unfortunately it doesn't emulate wonderfully. Makes me want to pick up an actual copy for something more playable. The game seems pretty cool, if very dated.

Yeah I just bought the PS2 promo this month and it's a pretty good game tbh. Solid tps. Too bad the emulator doesn't completely work (hacking enemies is glitched).

I own the PS2 game. Played it back when it first came out. I remember it being pretty good and I appreciated the original storyline and same VAs from the show.
It really doesn't. I mean what's in the op does nothing for me but this just looks so much worse.

Doesn't look like anything I'd want from a GitS game, but I have to say it still does look pretty good. FPS fans should be pretty happy with this. For me personally it's just too much (all) focus on shooting, so I'm out, but I can't say I don't like what I see.

Well, I don't like the setting of The Witcher but it's a really good game for what it does. So if CDR guys are able to traslate that quality on 2077, I bet we will have a masterpiece rpg.

for the majority of the series.

The real Call of Duty: Ghosts. I could know it would be terrible and I'd still give it a go. Maybe even enjoy it as a guilty pleasure.
PS2 game is serviceable; sound design is pretty bad and the hacking aspects are a bit meh, but it's playable if not a bit dated in terms of controls.
I didn't play much of the PSP game, because I thought it was garbage. Mostly because of the controls (it's a first-person shooter). But even if I did learn to wrangle the controls, I'm not convinced it would be any less garbage.
