I like the effects and the modernised Ghostbusters-theme, otherwise this looks flat as hell.
I still wonder if there ever has been one funny person coming from SNL since the end of the 80s..

The value of big name actors is overplayed. Quality, brand, and worldwide conceptual appeal (ie Fast and the Furious is so successful because who doesn't love cars?) is what's important

Sure big names are less important these days, but the jokes here just dont seem funny.

It's a better trailer than the first one. It gave me four snort chuckles, which is an improvement. I'm still not completely feeling it though.
The clip where they introduced him was hilarious. It probably makes me sound sexist that so far the only bit of marketing that I found funny was the dude part, but to me it just means the marketing has been mostly bad.

She's a great relief character. Like in Bridesmaids. A tertiary character that has a few choice scenes of absurdity, but otherwise not a major actor in the majority of the film. She's really grating as a lead for me. Her persona is just way too outlandish to be a leading character and her shtick gets played out really fast when not kept in check, which is never is. For me she lacks that somewhat calm, endearing good nature that someone like Chris Farley was able to convey in between his bouts of ridiculousness and over the top antics. That sense of this could be a real person, albeit a goofy and weird one, and not simply a nonstop caricature that can't stop acting at all times.
Wigg has that ability to a degree which is why I like her a lot. McKinnon as well has shown flashes of it in her own way from what I've seen of her SNL career. She's definitely one of my favorite current cast members. Jones though to me is like McCarthy. She is just too one note and always acting to hard. Sometimes it works out great, but most of the time it just feel awkward and forced and after a few minutes it just becomes tired and predictable. That final scene with the ghost and selfie was partially funny for me because it was outside Jones' normal shtick.
Looking good, very much liking the visuals. But...

I'm surprised at how much screen presence he displays here despite his minimal role. He really needs to pick better roles instead of dour stuff like The Huntsman.

I think he's saying it's pathetic for the whole "Did my part" aspect of the post. As if anyone who's downvoting it is fulfilling their moral responsibility to express how they feel about a trailer.
At least that was my reading of it. Of all the good or bad trailers I've seen, I've never felt personally inclined to upvote or downvote - much less tell the world about it - so maybe that's just my reading of it.
Because she's missing the point and trying to equate it with a race/gender thing? Which, ironically, is the same argument many of Ghostbusters 2016's haters are eager to point out.
