Sometimes, yeah, and always with weekend content (CD-i stream is not up yet to give you one example). It's so much better to watch things in the GB player, especially with 60 fps games, that I wouldn't dream of watching videos on YT.
 
Go to gb.com, see new video, download it, close gb. I'll watch it on youtube (and skip around) if it's something I'm not particularly interested in. GB video player is just too broken.
 
I can't remember: did we ever get an n64 stream of any kind from gb?

It's not like they get rid of him int the videos. His voice is still there. Have we got to the point where people are now sick of just looking at him than listening to him. Very odd.

A dedicated N64 stream? Not that I can remember, no. Neither Jeff, Ryan, Brad or Vinny ever showed much nostalgia for that console, really. Which isn't very surprising, they're probably not the right age for it and all of them seemed to be PS/PS2 fans in that era. Dan, being a huge Nintendo fan, is probably the only one in the office with big nostalgia for the 64.
 
I really enjoy Patrick's Dumptrucks. It's been a while since the last one...

By the way, it needs it's own section in the podcasts tab, it's getting really hard to find them.
 
N64 stream would be great. Get some Banjo, some Wave Race, some Beetle Adventure Racing. Doom 64. Rocket Robot on Wheels.

Plenty of cool shit to dip into besides the obvious OoT/SM64/FPS go-tos.

It has its own section, named "Interview" I think. Also, that VR dumptruck was pretty recent.

Maybe I should play some more of it. I think I put an hour into the campaign. (But like 50 into co-op). Was well worth the 10 bucks I paid for the PC version.

That's a bad argument. It's still fucking expensive, and calling it out as such is completely justified. But still, supply and demand and all that, Valve is getting paid and I have no problems with it. But it's an insane price for what you're getting.

As someone who plays Dota, $35 for arcana items is pretty bullshit, but then again it's the crazies like Brad who buy this stuff that allows me to keep playing Dota for free, so good on them.

I've purchased ZERO arcana items. Probably because I don't play one hero as my main.

Last I checked I have approximately $191.92 USD in the game for various dota items, not including the expense of TI4 This also includes my in game ticket purchases though, so my real expense is probably close to 120 or 100

edit #2: Don't know if the badge tracker counts all the items I've sold back or not. I'm guessing it doesn't? So the number could be even lower then as I've sold quite a few items.
 
I haven't been following this Dota thing, but I play league of legends and there are a few skins that are close to $35.00. They're completely cosmetic but people gladly pay money for them (me included, because I'm a sucker.)
 
i cant fathom why anyone wouldnt like Patrick. he's great, and one of the most open and level-headed game journalists ive seen, giant bomb or otherwise.
 
Guys... Because of Dan and Drew I just bought the MGS HD Collection.

Starting MGS2 now. I'm having goosebumps already just wantching the intro with the music. So many memories.

I remember being fucking BLOW AWAY by the Russian Soldiers when they land on the Tanker. Probably one of the first game to use mocap I would imagine?

I really wish the HD Collection would have been MGS 1-2-3 instead of 2-3-PW though...
