Jealous. in my area we have a number of all-you-can-eat korean bbq places, but as far as sushi/curry/ramen buffets go, not so much. In fact, I'd probably be pretty suspicious of any sushi buffets in suburban America.
Hmmm, I can accept pints. Wikipedia tells me that a pint is 568ml, which is fine.

Yes, but I was thinking about his comments about the less you know the happier you are and his blind trust in Walmart at the same time. I dunno, I really think he should do some research into these food places, like the horse meat fiasco with Tesco last year.
Willful ignorance is a thing, some people take pride in it. We all know Dan likes to joke, but avoiding knowing about things on purpose is pretty shitty IMO.

also 40's tend to have a higher ABV and taste like garbage water. They're kind of hilarious (and cheap) so I sort of get the appeal, but I'm too old for that.

But yeah, forties sound stupid. The 1 liter mugs at Oktoberfest get a bit off-putting towards the end.
You drink 40s to get drunk fast, not for flavor. There's a reason there's not really a craft "malt liquor" industry.

But you can drink 500ml (or slightly bigger) beers and get drunk just as fast, just without the beer tasting like shit halfway through because it's warm (for how big a 40 is, you almost have to chug the damn thing for it to stay somewhat cold to the end). It can't be that much more expensive either. I get that people don't drink 40s for the taste, but come on, that shit has to be disgusting.

Yeah, I love Dan to death, but his ignorance (and sometimes just refusal to learn or care) about certain topics is kind of disappointing. If he doesn't know or care how chicken nuggets work, I can't even image how he views some legitimate world problems.
You're usually pretty much deadest on finishing that shit if you but one so it isn't a grand feat. Just takes a good hour or so of consistent drinking and shoving bad food into your body. Probably walking around as well smoking a blunt.

I enjoyed the two months I got from it after a bombardment of ads from the other podcasts I listen to over the Spring/Summer. I just ended up with way too much food even from the 5 bags because I really don't snack that often. The things I got were very tasty.
What does that equation work out to if you also factor in Vinny's Anime Quotient?
