You people here should never host a show, because you guys seem to miss the point of having a guest to talk about their experience.
 
west hall was kinda creepy, GS's livecam walked around the edges and it was dead silent with a few bearded men randomly staring at you.
 
But they invited him on, so it's obvious they want to hear what he's talking about. He doesn't really even seem to be trying to dominate the section really.
 
he actually has some interesting things to say, give the guy a fucking chance, damn

the actual giantbomb guys are getting plenty time to talk anyway
 
Paul Barnett is an example of a guest who talks a lot and just makes me wish he didn't. He used to be cool. Maybe he's just tired or EA has really changed him.

Not really understanding people disliking Barnett, he's had some interesting stuff to say. I really don't get why so many people are desperate for the crew alone to talk about what they saw/liked at the show; it's not like they aren't going to do that in the next Bombcast and the next two weeks worth of content.

It's literaly because he had the nerve to stick up for a F2P game that he worked on. I say whatever to that, I'd like to see how anybody here would deal with that situation.

Personally I'm not at all for having just the GB crew but I'm definitely for not having Paul on.
 
I don't mind Paul in general, I'm just way more interested in what the crew have to say about their E3 experiences right now
 
Watching the Giant Bomb LIVE! - E3 2014 - Day 1, Yoshida is so bored out of his mind at all these westerners making their dave lang jokes :p

No.

It's one thing to politely tow the company line, but he used intellectually dishonest and disingenuous arguments to try and convince people everyone is wrong and their brand of F2P is not just a cash grab to attract whales.

Oh, and that there's no way to revive beloved games/licences without encasing them in trash and we should be happy. (*cough* Xcom *cough*)
 
But he did not bring that up again did he? I missed a little of the beginning but he didn't seem to have said anything that can get the internet outraged.

Also I thought it brought about a really interesting discussion about F2P. I sided with Rami but you know what, I don't necessarily regarded the otherside as an "enemy". Just 2 sides as the gaming world tries to find another payment model as the traditional model is continuing to diminish.
 
I just tuned in....what game is Brad talking about right now(re the Metroidvania game)???
 
Antiwhippy one day I swear I will track down and capture the mad scientist who threatens to destroy you with his space ray if you ever disagree with any member of the crew's opinion, criticize anything related to the site, or allow any criticism of Giant Bomb to go unchallenged

he wasn't on the other side of the argument for f2p his game is one of the ones that even pro f2p people are disgusted by
