so how many drum hits has he probably totaled up?
My lazy Google search tells me there is an average over 1000 notes on each expert track. Times that by the number of songs dude has played. I'm gonna estimate a gorillion.

Is he doing random songs or did he pick out a setlist?

He made playlists and kept it to one song per artist, which sort of reminds me how many god damned songs are playable in Rock Band.

Once again, Alex has proved himself to be the secret best Giant Bomb guy.
Yeah, it's nuts. Has he not repeated a song this whole time?
I have no beef with Alex. Shame he gets shit on, on the regular, and nice to see him in his element.
Over $17,000 goal hit!
Man, music used be so good back in the day.
This is the most endurance run thing giant bomb has ever hosted
Alex just pounded the shit out of Out Here All Night. Definitely check that one out if you missed it.
I am ashamed to admit, prior to the establishment of GBeast, I may have said some uncool things about him in the past. I have grown to appreciate him a great deal though since then. I think one of the reasons I felt like I didn't like him, is his personality reminds me too much of myself sometimes, so it was kind of a self loathing thing.
Alex is awesome but I didn't really appreciate him until GBeast. Never had anything against the guy, but now I love him. And that was before I saw this drum performance.
I really like that one. Instantly searched for it on youtube.Alex just pounded the shit out of Out Here All Night. Definitely check that one out if you missed it.
Same here. He is my current favorite on the GB team.
Man, rock music used be so good back in the day.
UPF tonight should just be everyone in a trance-like state watching this Alex stream
OK, this is one of his go to songs clearly, he's barely missing a beat so long into it.
9 hours of drumming it's coming up to. 9 HOURS.
UPF tonight should just be everyone in a trance-like state watching this Alex stream
This is probably the first time a lot of people have been introduce to Alex's history in music/Harmonix, I'd imagine.
Just like that time when they found a random guy shredding with a guitar on a PS4 live stream.
