I think Destiny's microstransactions (and the game in its entirety) sucks, but that doesn't mean I think it's a scam or even exploitative. If people are getting value out of those things and aren't being lied to in the process, then what's the problem?

I mean, if someone spends thousands of dollars on a mobile game like Clash of Clans, and finds value in it, there's no problem right? Despite those games being made to exploit whales. Star Citizen...thousands of dollars for a digital whale? Sure there's no 'problem', but there definitely is a point where things are made to exploit whales like this.

I mean, if someone spends thousands of dollars on a mobile game like Clash of Clans, and finds value in it, there's no problem right? Despite those games being made to exploit whales. Star Citizen...thousands of dollars for a digital whale? Sure there's no 'problem', but there definitely is a point where things are made to exploit whales like this.

So Witcher 3 will probably end up at the 8-10 spot. Bummer

I just can't see Brad fighting that hard to push MGSV over Mario Maker, especially with all of the 2nd half problems and post-release Konami shenanigans. And I don't recall anyone from GBeast talking it up that much compared to the West guys. Plus Jeff and Dan will be lobbying MM for that top spot hard.
