Err, someone make a note of this - OT4 just got Vinny'd.
Whats Vinny's avatar?
Terrorinny
That Vinny is scary, like he just beat the shit out of me. I don't like it ;-;
Just wanted to jump in to say that things are actually easier than ever. All the additions we add to the studio are to make things easier, not harder. At this point, it actually takes longer to get the chat servers warmed up than it does to get a stream going. I even bought 3 PCs with their own capture kits so folks can do their own business.
Patrick is doing his Spookin' by himself. Jeff streams all his solo stuff from home by himself. I just did this on Friday night while I was alone cleaning up the studio and then Jeff joined in from home: http://www.twitch.tv/giantbomb/b/396167210
The technology to do this stuff is the best and easiest it's ever been.
A while ago there was a bombcast that mentioned a website that would basically tell you what to buy. There are a bunch of categories and it basically cuts out the research for you. Kind of targeted towards the average consumer price ranges. Anyone remember what site that was?

Wow, I thought you did that from home. You're staying in the office to late! I appreciate all your hard workJust wanted to jump in to say that things are actually easier than ever. I believe Jeff was talking about this: http://thewirecutter.com/
Between this and stuffing people in car trunks and jumping the car into the ocean you have to wonder...
One thing I've always wanted to know about Vinny since he's had his kid is what his schedule looks like. There has to be a major conflict between working for a site that asks him to shoot, edit, post, and produce content sometimes well into the night, and do Dad stuff.

Man I really want to watch the Fortune Street TNT on my Roku but besides downloading it and using Plex there literally isn't a way to do that. Why isn't there a search functionality in their apps (Boxee/Roku)?
Well, they do start later in the day from my understanding. I don't think people are working from 6am to 9pm or anything (other than the engineers during the rebuild). They also have the option to do a lot of stuff from home.
But, yeah, I was afraid they were staying at the office late on Friday to put up UF. That sort of bums me out. I'd think that would be something that could be done from... anywhere?
I'm not one to whine about a long work day, but a very long work day on your Friday when you just want to go home and enjoy your family... that stinks.

Uploads are normally automatic but sometimes they fail especially with longer videos so they have to be done manually on a separate computer.
Drew explained it in the how to make a TNT video or whatever it was called.
Who's Dave?Thread #5 is already reserved to commemorate Dave, no changing!
Bah, you call yourself a fan and haven't heard of Dave Lang? He's head of the Iron Brigade.Who's Dave?

Prequel to DrenchedYou mean Trenched.
What's the name of the TV show Brad mentioned in one the recent Bombcasts? He said he saw an episode with a cat that was let out of a house after years of being locked there and he died right after getting out?
Hoarders?
So are we getting another Professional Fridays again this wednessday?
So guys, not that it really matters a lot or anything, but I've been curious the last two weeks or so.
Is Ryan Davis gay? Not that I have anything against it but some stuff has just been noticed by me and I'm wondering if I'm all wrong on this one or not.
The way he was playing around with Alexis and Rorie and sometimes he makes these weird ass comments.. like in the Unmechanical quick look, Vinny says we are going to look at Ewan Gregor's all day, and Ryan is like oh I wish.
Just something that stood out to me personally.
My friends and I joke around like Ryan does. If anything we're worse than Ryan.
But wouldn't it be possible to manually update from home? I'm guessing the manual update process is still pretty automated, where you just have to keep on eye on the progress bar, or something, right?
More like Ryan GAYVIS right?
I bet Ryan's wedding is going to be ridiculously awesome.
