I set my media server to download the HD versions because it was so infuriating not being able to properly watch any premium videos on the site.

I'm excited to try out the new video stuff as well. I believe they tested it for a few days with the beta site but I missed out on it. Can't wait to see the new site with proper content on it.

I tried the newer videos on the beta site a few days ago, which were supposedly from the new video servers (don't know how to tell). HD was buffering every few seconds, so it was basically unusable for me. I hope it will be OK on the real site, because it was pretty much flawless before.

The new video resume feature will save me so many clicks. Judging from the beta, it's really well implemented too. It's kinda crazy that the site is only now getting this, considering how long the videos can get.

I think just about everything looks better in grid mode. Their descriptions are very short, so list mode wastes a lot of space in my opinion.

Like most sites nowadays, they're designed with mobile devices in mind, or more specifically, adaptive to numerous, varying sizes of screens and input devices. The new GB is 10x prettier and more usable on an iPad than before. Typically the result of this design philosophy is the normal, mouse/keyboard/web browser/big monitor experience suffers a slight bit, while the handheld/mobile/ipad experience improves drastically.

They switched server side languages from what Dave said. Couldn't be easy basically rewriting the site from scratch.

Edit: Looks like the DNS my phone is using still has the old site.

New homepage is much better. The one they were using was way too disjointed and empty, looked super amateurish.
