Also with Brad as the tactical leader they are going to be in the laning phase for the whole game.
They're all playing dota? I might actually need to pay for premium.
Just got home and everyone's playing Dota? Where am I
All mid is a thing in dota games right? Isn't that a good idea for starting out?
It is, but its not really effective since it just leaves the other two lanes open and gold xp aren't distributed as effectively. Its normally something that done for fun and when both teams agree upon doing it; never to win.
So did brad explain anything?

I usually recommend a six week course. There's so much, where would he even start?
There is a recommended items part of the shop panel, but it's hardly their fault. They don't know they have gold probably let alone how to even open the shop window.Isn't there an interface thing that tells you what to buy at shops? Like they didn't spend any money at the start

It might be, but at least for me as a relative beginner having such hard time parsing things out in team fights to begin with I can't imagine what somebody totally new would feel like.It would be good for teaching how heroes work and the different ranges involved in engagements.

Well Brad could have told them about it, so it's his fault. AS ALWAYSThere is a recommended items part of the shop panel, but it's hardly their fault. They don't know they have gold probably let alone how to even open the shop window.
Will Smith loves hoping on the giant bomb flavour of the month train
question, whats a good starter hero if I wanted to try dota 2? I played a bit of HON when it first came out so I know the general concept but not really the heroes (played electrician, pollywog priest and wretched hag a bit)

So how was Unprofessional Fridays? Worth watching all of it?
yes
ryan was really good in it this week too
You should check out the dota OT. First post has the info you need to get started.
I've never played HON so I have no idea what similar heroes would be, but some decent starting heroes are Lich, Tidehunter, Zeus, Viper.
I think Electrician has no equivalent , Pollywog Priest is Shadow Shaman, Queen of Pain is Wretched Hag. I've been told these are not good characters to start with.

Shhheeeiiiiit ok I'll watch it.I've really turned my opinion around on Ryan, because of this stream. He is clearly the hardest working staff member.
