It's the way he said it, i wasn't in the chat at the time but i can imagine people spamming that and drew thinking ''oh boy''.
I'm sure they were probably spamming it. I wonder what the room would have been like when Brad was playing the Shadow of the Colossus HD. Calling for blood probably.

Makes for a damn entertaining QL though. I don't even want to think of what I would fudge up if I was playing a game on camera.

Feels like there's been so much content lately! Bombin' really fills up that pile of new videos. Watched the PAX Panel this morning. They should have thrown out that twat who asked about TANG.

don't think so or he got one of the lesser prizes like the t-shirts or posters Johnny sorta just gave out the figures randomly. he even gave the figures tot he guys who did NOTHING. that was really lame.

Didn't Jeff later tweet out a call for the twerkers to contact them? I think they realized their mistake and may have made amends later on.

Jeff asked on Twitter for the guys who were "on stage" with Brad to PM him so I imagine he sorted them out with an extra prize or something.

It makes me wonder if that guy was being an instigator or is genuinely that ignorant.

It's difficult to give him the benefit of the doubt.

There always has to be an agitator that will do something stupid because they think they're funny.

oh really? was this during PAX so he gave them in person? hope they didn't get any frauds replying. heh

Jeff has all but said that ILM and TNT have been scrapped. There hasn't been an ILM in literally months.

Basically, anything that was mostly a Ryan thing is cancelled. That's ILM, TNT, TANG, etc.

I wish they would do a Tuesday Night Tumble though. It was a great way for the community to play with the guys.

I think if you're in deep enough to a) turn up to the Giant Bomb PAX Panel and actually get in, and b) remember what the fuck TANG was, you know Ryan's dead. It's impossible to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's either a fucking idiot or a fucking asshole.

I've been following GB since Arrow Pointing Down and all I really knew about TANG was that it stood for This Ain't No Game and was related to movies. I figured it was a Ryan thing because that acronym sounds like something he'd come up with.

Of course given my lack of knowledge about TANG I wouldn't ask about it at a panel, since it was obviously something I'm not interested in. Therefore if someone IS interested in it enough to ask about it at a panel you'd think they would know it was apparently Ryan's baby. And also, someone said the guy who asked that question was part of a group of people who were being obnoxious dipshits in general. So you've gotta think it was meant to troll the GB guys, which is pretty fucking lame.

I doubt it's either. I've met people before that are earnestly just the most tactless sonsofbitches imaginable, but they're not idiots, just incredibly socially awkward.

Well, kudos to him then, for defying all my expectations on how tactless someone can unintentionally be. :lol

the TANG question was basically what happens when you take trollish comments/questions you think are funny online and try to say them IRL. you look like a moron.

Plus TNT was kinda in the "soul searching" phase before Ryan's passing

Is Dave gone for good? I thought he just left for a bit to hang out with his family.

He left for good to hang with his family, but apparently he has another project brewing with some friends

I sat behind the group of obnoxious guys from Canada, including the guy who tried to be 'funny' with Alex. For that guy, I don't think he was trying to troll intentionally, it just seemed like he was just a super awkward idiot who thought that the GB guys were his best buddies. That guy would stand up and cheer with creepy intense stalker-like enthusiasm over any little joke by Jeff. Definitely a weird, weird dude.

I don't remember if the TANG guy was part of that group.

I hope they bring back TNT when more multiplayer games come out. Right now it feels like there's a gaping hole with its absence.

Jeff has said a couple of times on tumblr that the reason they don't shoot an ILM is that they still have not got back to planning the weeks schedule out in advance. If so, you can kinda see why management is riding them a bit :D

They could use a free live show sometime during the week but they were getting sick of TNT long before - as were a lot of the audience. I think they want to come up with something new that isn't "on the couch playing games" - be it new (quick looks), old (UPF) or multiplayer (TNT). Problem is that coming up with a good idea is hard - especially ones not labour and money intensive. Patrick (spookin, morning show, worth playing) and Alex (movie podcast, wrestling podcast, morning show) have actually been driving innovation.

Looking like a late bombcast tonight :(

edit: I'm a foooooooooooooooooooooool. Happy monday everyone.

Been quite enjoying Scoops and the Wolf every Monday and Friday. Wonder if we need topics for it, or just keep it in here?

So what happens if I ask Jeff about the derelict cars in his driveway?

I know I'm cynical about the crew but without Patrick there I'd be surprised if they talk about it.

And that's fine because Scoops + Wolf are doing a great job of covering the topical stuff.

I don't know. That was Ryan's show but it doesn't mean they couldn't continue it in some way as a tribute to him. He might not have been a dick.

I hope they didn't straight out cancel all the shows Ryan hosted as has been suggested. TNT definitely needed a re-work but it was a lot of fun at times.

Does anybody remember what the crazy ass game Jeff played on unprofessional Fridays months ago was? The one that started with a command prompt style hacking thing, and then became a trippy, glitchy looking first person exploration game? It looked super intense.
