New Balance shoes are a fat guy thing? I had no idea. I'm 140 lbs and I wear a pair for jogging.

Not so much being fat, but guys in their mid 30s who gave up on having a fashion sense. I don't think it's an objective fact, but it's definitely a thing associated with the brand.

Personally, I just think they're too ugly for casual wear.

Is something wrong with the videos? THe white balance of everything sine TNT has been off, it looks washed out or something.

Seriously. Since when the fuck did "I think your complaint is dumb and baseless, here's why" equate to "UGHHH DEFENSE FORCE TIEM"? If you can't handle your criticism being open to being criticised in kind, kindly get the fuck off the Internet.

It's like "hipster", which either refers to someone wearing black framed glasses and possibly has a beard, or someone whose style you don't understand or like. Though I've found that mostly people don't know themselves what they're referring to when they use it. When someone blurts out "oh what a hipster" in a very negative way, I ask them what makes that person a hipster. Usually I don't get a coherent answer back. It's such a ridiculous catch-all word to just throw at something you don't like.

I really dislike the word "pretentious" for the same reason as above. I'd say like 95% of people who use it use it wrong or don't know what it means.

They're kinda a thing in the US in some circles. They're super comfortable and they come in a billion different colors and can be ordered customized to hell and back if you want.

I have a pair of New Balance sneakers. They are comfortable as fuck but I only really use them when I go for a jog.

Hipsters are people who dress and act differently depending on trends. Whatever is "Hip", hence the name. No one can tell you
what a Hipster looks like because the whole concept of a Hipster is being someone who's persona changes depending on whatever is trendy at the time. They're social chameleons. Its used as an insult because hipsters typically don't have an identity and just do what other people are doing so they feel accepted.

Shut up you pretentious hipster apologist!

New Balance are great because they arent made in sweat shops. Its weird Steve Jobs wore them because that guy fucking loved sweat shops. You would think he would be a Nike guy.

The name "Social Chameleon" sounds pretty rad, and I kind of want to be one now.

Lethal league is hype as fuck.

Pong as a fighting game is such a brilliant idea.

I discovered it a while back, as both the creators and I happen to be Dutch. It's incredibly well done and also mad hard against AI. They seem to have toned the difficulty down a bit though, as he makes much more stupid mistakes now.

Doesn't this game warrant its own thread btw? I haven't seen one yet, but am unable to create one. More people should play this!

Watching yesterday's Daily DOTA and it was a really frustrating watch. Sometimes the simplest of actions like a right click or staying with your team mate is all it needed for Brad to do well but he just runs away at the first sign of "danger" and is seemingly obsessed with damage numbers rather than sticking to the team planned strat.

I get it, its all in good fun but then he acts defeated and negative when its his own actions leading to him to that point. I wonder if he is still having fun, I guess he is.

I have seen some really nice New Balance shoes.

Would rather buy a decent pair of NBs made in America than " fashionable" shoes which cost more and are made in a sweatshop

New balance is good for people with high arches. Or is it wide feet? Maybe low arches and skinny feet.. I'm not sure what they're good for.

One thing I'm noticing with Brad is that when he's talking about stuff he's interested in, he often goes "I'm not go into the details/nitty and gritty". No please do. That's why I like him more on the Tested podcast, because he usually does there. I want unhinged Brad.

The ultimate test will be if Ryan is gonna wear New Balance on his wedding day.

nah, it is a video game cosplay themed wedding

Is there a Daily Dota today?

Last #DailyDota Brad said "we'll certainly do more of this the weekend"

Pascual asked "what, daily dota?"

Brad said something along the lines of "well, maybe, but I'll certainly play more of this"

So maybe we'll get some, maybe we won't.

That's the Girl Gamers manager Bryn, not the VGCW manager Bazza

Actually thinking about it Ref Gerstmann would be the perfect dude for anything involving Real Life people in the league since he's not really down with them at all

So, did anyone else know that the Castlestorm Quicklook is up?

Something funky is going on with their site. It still says that the quick look is upcoming even though it's well past the time already, and you can only find it in the quick look video page.

At this point I'd rather the Persona 4 protagonist join the VGCW and be named "Charlie Tunoku." That would be enough for me.

That's definitely happened before with other videos. Not sure why.

edit: aaaa why is Brad yelling into my left ear.

Yea I noticed that as well. I saw it this morning on Youtube, but when I went on the site to watch it, it wasn't there.
