Maybe for Microsoft to make. They're not going to sell it any cheaper than the current model. The third revision is the bargain basement Walmart crowd model. Not just a die shrink, but making it as cheap as possible.

I say Birmingham when I live in Solihull. That is how it works around the world. Its easier to give people context and reference than being all high and mighty about particulars.
Didn't why say something about more DMC this week? Though that's Brad content too...,
Vinny confirmed that they can't do more DMC this week when Brad asked on the podcast, sounds like stuff isn't off the truck yet or maybe some of the equipment needed was the stuff that was stolen?
He said not Tuesday/Wednesday but maybe Thursday/Friday. Especially since they plan on doing TNT/Unprofessional Fridays before Patrick leaves one last time.Vinny confirmed that they can't do more DMC this week when Brad asked on the podcast, sounds like stuff isn't off the truck yet or maybe some of the equipment needed was the stuff that was stolen?
Do you want him to say Chicagoland?I find it a bit amusing he says Chicago when he really means a suburb. But I guess that's easier than just saying the name of some town that no one knows (like Petaluma or wherever Jeff and Ryan live).
Well, like I said, people seem to think he's moving into a crackhouse in the middle of the projects or something. He said he's not even moving to Chicago proper, iirc.Do you want him to say Chicagoland?

I've begun to just say I live in X, which is close to Y.I live in the VA suburbs, but if anyone from out of town asks me where I'm from, I just tell them DC. It saves a lot of conversation.
Thank god, no more Klepek on the bombcast

Patrick Klepek said:The tug-of-war between Microsoft and Sony just got more interesting. Multiple sources inform me Microsoft will announce what amounts to a complete reversal on its DRM policies for Xbox One today.
What does this mean?
No more always online requirement
The console no longer has to check in every 24 hours
All game discs will work on Xbox One as they do on Xbox 360
An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console
All downloaded games will function the same when online or offline
No additional restrictions on trading games or loaning discs
Region locks have been dropped
...
Of course, Xbox One is still $499 and PlayStation 4 is still $399. But today moves the needle.

Edit: Yeah he's just leaving the city, but I'll miss him being with the group.
I wonder if those are the same "sources" that told Patrick that Sony would go with the DRM? lol
site is down i think
Did he report on that with an actual news story? I only remember him and the crew saying they thought Sony would surely have similar DRM plans (which was a fair guess to make) on the podcast and on some videos talking casually, but I don't remember seeing an actual article about it go up.

"This is my ultimate attack... FINAL SCOOP"
And so one of the Internet's greatest writers has vanished in a blinding tweet of light, having made the ultimate scoop for the sake of his community. His name... was Klepek - a true. games. journalist.
