Alex's nickname is "The Wolf"? How the heck diid that happen.

From the sounds of it on the first show they did with the name, Jeff got a really dumb* idea in his head and nobody around him talked him out of it. Pretty much the same reason most of Giant Bomb exists. Alex said Jeff presented him with a whole list of suggestions for a title for the (then unnamed) show, and all of them ended "...with Scoops and the Wolf"

note: At least until I'm done with Saints Row 4, "really dumb" should be interpreted only as a compliment.

? What? No. They're intensely dense with meaning, every sentence. It's like those parts of the regular podcasts that ain't energy drinks, poo throwing controversies, and shitty, law-breaking roommates and they get down to deep insight.
Not really. He spends way to much time yammering about a point that could be said concisely.

Word on the street (well the virtual street) is that - despite being made by a developer with a spotty record and Capcom sending it out to die - Lost Planet 3 is surprisingly okay. Supposed to be a lot better than 2 at least. Will need a QL to confirm.

It's crazy how much coverage Infinity is getting just because Johnny produced it. Soon to be THREE Quick Looks of the same game. Totally ridiculous. And it's not hard to comprehend what it is.

All the Infinity stuff we've seen so far has been the toybox. Which is only a small part of the game. It's worth doing a quicklook to see the playsets.

Same thing happened with Dive Kick.

It's kind of embarrassing really.

Not this again.

Dude, go on Steam check out all the new releases every week they don't look at because they're looking at their friends games. It's not like them doing this Quick Look for a third time of the same game doesn't prevent other QLs from happening. It so clearly does.

They quick look the games they want to quick look. That's the way it's always been.

I would like to see them play DI. I avoid almost any QL where a dev or producer is present, so I haven't seen a second of the game in action.

If you're working on a major game, email the guys, book an hour and head to SF. You'll get a QLEX. You'll most likely also get a QL come release. That's two. It's not their fault the format and style of GB content scares a lot of PR folks off because, generally, GB won't feature marketing people and putting a developer an hour in front of a camera they have no control over can be a nightmare for handlers.

Oh no, JV, one of the most well known and liked friend-of-the-site, got a third because they used the game as an excuse to get more camera time with a fan favourite. Call the SEC.

Pause ahead from worth playing looks fucking awesome holy shit.

I love that segment precisely for exposing games that looks rad.
