Giant Bombcast 02-02-owe-ten

Having played and enjoyed ME2, I'm now kinda sick of hearing about it in podcasts. I want to, like, talk about it on a forum, not listen to ME2 radio.

Someone is really missing Idle Thumbs, where recent releases were never the topic of conversation!

... and now I've gone and made myself sad.

Fuck, I'm tired of hearing people complaining about a hot topic being discussed on all the podcasts that they happen to listen. It's like <insert good and popular game here> all over again.

That's because their podcasts rarely had a fixed "template" or format to begin with...

...now I'm feeling its loss myself :(

I think they are really tempting fate with the fish can. Get rid of it..Time is not on your side my friends.

It's gonna end in tears and it'll be fucking awesome.

The first 10 minutes of this podcast are gold. I just felt I must let the Internet know this fact.

I was telling a friend today how much I missed idle thumbs!

...:(

Brilliant!

What the fuck. The original series is the best Star Trek hands down. Come on guys! >:|

I haven't been this disappointed in you guys since ketchup on steak.

The Drew discussion on pinball machines and Ryan's Avatar slam are just great. They avoid story spoilers for ME2 discussion. It's mostly gameplay.

Oh man, this shit got nerdy during the Star Trek bits. God damn! All that pent up Star Trek stuff just exploded through the podcast :lol

TrineFarCry2TrineTorchligh

Whoops, wrong show.

This was a great ME2 discussion. Meaty but no spoilers, well done. I can't believe you didn't see that massive increase in scanning speed after upgrading it. I have no idea what the probe upgrade does though.

As far as fish dying, yeah, Kelly does all that shit for me now. I keep her on a short leash.

Couldn't disagree more. I skipped past any Mass Effect 2 talk before it was released, I'd much rather listen to them talk about it now that I've played it. Hell, I want a spoiler-cast devoted just to ME2, where hopefully everybody on the show played it a different way so the spoilers never even happened to some of them :lol

Man, Ryan really didn't like Avatar. =(

I thought it was pretty good and not really deserving of all the hate it has gotten from GB, particularly Jeff.

I think I'm gonna skip this one. I hear its all Mass Effect, and Star Trek talk. Ive made it this far without the game being spoiled, might as well keep it going until i can buy it myself. Its still my favorite podcast though. Keep it up guys!

Listened to the first 40 minutes and it is excruciatingly bad. Really disorganized this week and it seems like no one really has anything to talk about.

Jeff thinks Jurassic Park is dumb =(

Anyway, a while back someone posted a link with the endurande run episodes to download. Anyone still got that?

Love the BC but I agree, thought this show was just terrible. In fairness, skipped the Mass Effect segment so I guess that could have been great.

This podcast needed Dave. That man is simply delightful.
Yeah, I got all excited when they said "and filling in for Brad..." then I sighed sadly. Bioware and MMO talk? Seemed perfect for a Dave show.

As far as Avatar, Ryan's impressions are exactly what I thought from the trailers. It's a movie I will gladly never see.

Did we listen to the same thing? The first half hour was gold.

Yeah. Drew seems like a cool guy, but he barely says anything at all. I'd really rather they put Dave in whenever possible. Hell, just make it a five-man show if need be like they did one of the times Jared was on because Dave is the man.

More proof that Seven Days is the greatest tv show still not on DVD... it solve's ryan's time travel problem!

It was on after (or before) Voyager on UPN. How awesome is that? 1 hour of Star Trek and 1 hour of Time Travel

I miss UPN :(
