Giantbomb Kinect for the entire Day Live

As a really simple game of football, that actually looks ok. I wonder how long till Fifa has Kinect support? :lol

yeah, i had no idea they were trying to make a simple full game of soccer. i thought it was just a shoot-out style mini game. soccer looks cool!

I think Kinect looks rather solid tech-wise. The lag is something you notice on a video like this, but it's probably not much of an issue while playing yourself. The games are very much illustrating, though, that camera based motion control is not really meant for playing games. These games look so incredibly bad it's not even funny. The best thing you can do with Kinect is probably using your hand as a pointer thingy like Child of Eden does.

I have played it, it's pretty fun by yourself, but the space issue comes up for 2 player. By yourself it is pretty easy to block shots, etc.

Like playing 1-touch football. Any other football motion games out there?

I meant the part when Jeff was waving to crowd and they responded, and you could make them do the wave.

I know full well what you meant, and it was hardly "magical"

Games fault or players fault ?

pretty sure players fault. i've seen video with people leaning for goalie dives and saves. i thought it looked rather good, they were just shit at it (expected first time). as an outside viewer though, it clicked.

I think people don't quite get - playing kinect > watching kinect. Thats sort of the point of full body motion gaming

Bowling already looks way more interesting and involving than the Wii Bowling. Well, as interesting as real bowling is. :lol

Really? It's bowling. I don't really see anything here that makes it way more involving than what's been done before, unless you're just referring to the "extreme" themed arena.

This bowling looks kinda fun, first thing I've seen that has made me think it might actually be fun.

A T-Mobile ball though? REALLY?

notice how the ball always goes a straight line, with no wrist element or nuance whatsover.

might aswell just tape a wiimote to your forearm if you want that experience.

Jeff said you can add spin but they didn't show it

Like having the crowd around you and the more realistic bowling. Even with more players, I found Wii Bowling a little solitary and empty. Just me though.
