kinect adventures looked fine, not nearly as wonky as sports. strange, i'd imagined that the libraries for ui navigation would be consistant between games.

Sports games don't look so hot. Dance Central still looks fun though. Absolutely not my thing, but I get why people are into it.

In a story, it said that is only for two player games. In one player games you need to move around the table. That is the same for most of the two player games on Kinect Sports, IIRC.

so now for Kinect Sport , Track and field is kinda decent , the rest of the mini games are pure junk ( especially Soccer , Volleyball and Boxing ).

but still I think Kinect Sports is way better than Adventure for the Kinect bundle.

Can you pick up a controller to do menu stuff in Kinect games? This kind of lengthy song-and-dance to do stuff surely gets frustrating after 5 minutes. I'm frustrated just watching it.

edit - this really is that 'xbros' gif come to life.
 
Buttons are so much faster and accurate. I guarantee nobody uses the voice stuff for more than it takes for the novelty to wear off.
 
I've got to say that after watching this footage, I am wondering why the reviews have been so high. Adventures and Sports seem to be quite rough in a lot of areas. I get that it will be fun for families and gatherings, but I am not seeing a lot of solidity in the hardware functionality so far.

this really needs some fine tuning before this tech really shines, cannot wait to see if the next gen of this stuff :D
 
as cool as it is controlling the menus by voice or by hand. i hope people don't forget that using the controller would be atleast 5 times faster.

I think Sports looked pretty fun. Other than Soccer, turnbased oh god. Adventures looked very underwhelming though. Not much stuff there to do, it seems.
