//: Global Starcraft II League (GSL) - Blizzard Cup 2011

No wonder, he didn't even attack with all his army, sending two small armies is lol..
Maybe he was worried for drops?

edit: not really in the mood for ZvZ... brb :)

There's something wrong with an all-in if a mechanically handicapped player can pull off something with a high success rate.
Even worse is when it's like terran all-ins, where you can actually recover from a failed one.

The expected return is way too high for the risk taken.

this only happens when the opponent is really bad player and don't know how to do follow ups.

yeah i agree, i mean his macro must be really amazing if he can support +5 gateways and 1 robo off 36 probes.

That is EXACTLY the building and probe count that its pretty much agreed says you NEED to defend a 1/1/1. You clearly don't know the matchup. And that was a crippled 1/1/1 because Polt lost a ton of shit and SCVs early. Yet it still worked with an almost braindead attack. The risk:reward is borked with that strategy and you know it. Everyone knows it and has known it for a long time.

makes no sense to 10pool with speed and hide the lings... the advantage is only in the slightly quicker speed which is meaningless if you're not on the map to take advantage of your upgrade.

.
No. That's exact the purpose of an all-in.

You guys in copper league obviously play another game than me.
:'D

And what the heck is going on in the game? I'm hearing Moletrap scream a lot...

Nestea has fallen so far :/

He had enough units to save his first hatchery, he lets banes in, he let his second hatchery attempt not only fail but get killed. I'm...so disappointed. New Fruitdealer :(

Edit: Contrast that game to Stephanos sick micro yesterday against DRG. Crazy difference.

maybe he doesn't care and he's throwing games but looking like he's sort of trying... right? right? that has to be it, guys.

/cry

Truth to be told, people should be a lot more conservative with calling shit all-ins then.
Because calling that shit an all-in compared to a zerg, or even a toss, all-in is ridiculous.
The chance of recovering when you fail with a zerg all-in must be like 1/10 of a terran all-in.

and sorry, I just had to troll :(

Hyperbole-gaf, man.
Not really. I don't think FD ever played a game that poorly. FDs fall I remember more due to his aggressive style becoming less and less effective (or more and more predictable). That was just sloppy mechanics from Nestea.

I wonder how Tastosis would've praised Nestea that game.

You're still cool in my book, even though you know nothing about all-ins! :D Me and D3vil's probably done over 2000 all-ins in SC2.
