WHERE TO VOTE
___________________________________________________________

By now you should know where you're supposed to go to vote, but if not, here are some easy locators you can use:

Go vote. It's very easy. Your employer is required to allow you to take time during the day to vote.

You don't need to vote for everything on the ballot if you're not informed on everything. Just select "Barack Obama" for President, and leave the rest blank, if you need to.

WHEN DO POLLS CLOSE?
___________________________________________________________

All times in EST (-1 CST, -2 MST, -3 PST). States with asterisks have multiple closing times depending on location. Visit here and click the state for more details.

The major networks will start calling the first states starting at 7-8pm EST. This will go on until the west coast polls close at 11pm EST. This was the point at which the election was called in 2008 for Obama (California putting him over the top). The election is much closer this year so it may take longer for them to sort out the battleground states.

BE THE DIFFERENCE
___________________________________________________________

The election is very close this year. Your vote could be the difference. Especially if you live in one of the following states:

Florida
Ohio
Virginia
Nevada
Colorado
Iowa
Wisconsin
New Hampshire
Pennsylvania
Oregon
New Mexico
North Carolina
Maine
Michigan
Nebraska

Even if you don't live in one of these states, get off your ass and go vote.

Washington, Maryland, Maine, and Minnesota have gay marriage on the ballot today. So if you live in one of those states, VOTE.

I voted a few weeks ago. Baller Absentee Ballot Style.

And I voted all up on Obama (and like, thirty fucking judges god damn). I also voted for Issue 2 in Ohio, which was to instate a non-partisan commission to redistrict congressional districts.

Voted last week.for Obama in Texas. I was not given an 'I Voted' sticker. I consider this a form of voter suppression. :(

Also, I voted for like ten libertarian judges, because no one else was even bothering to run against the Republicans.

Off to vote in Indiana. Stein/Honkala at the top of the ticket, Democrat on the rest.

Edit: Done and done. Took an hour to drive to the polling place, vote, and drive back. Not bad.

I voted!

...but then gave my sticker to a nice lady who said I could win a rifle so I can't show it proudly.

On an off note, my god, gun stores are freaking majestic as all hell.

They made you trade your sticker for a gun raffle? ROFL, only in America.

Voted last week in CA. Dem downticket. Went with the person with the better website for our State Legislature because they were both Dems.

Voted bright and early this morning in Ohio before work... only took about 20 minutes to get through the line. Never voted this early in the morning before, so I'm not sure if that's long or short or not...!

and you voted for? I'm asking because you know...you're in ohio and it's kinda important. lol

I think Obama has been an utter disappointment and don't think he should get another four years, and maybe even Romney wouldn't be an awful choice, but the republicans have gone full retard. I can't imagine a world where these republicans get full power again.

I reluctantly voted for obama in NC. I await four more years of partisan fighting and both sides getting nothing done.

Florida gaffer here. I was a part of early voting.

Voted for Obama for President and Nelson for Senator. I decided to retain all of the supreme court judges.

I said no to all of the amendments (however if I placed more research in that particular section, I would have said yes to the first amendment. Sloppy job on my part, but I know better for the next election).
