What incarnation of Goku are we talking about?

Assuming Goku knows his weakness, Goku teleports to get Kryptonite and proceeds to kill Superman.
 
hmm, actually now that I think about it maybe those fireballs and what not are considered magic so maybe Superman would have his hands full.
 
Old topic, but post Buu Goku would own Superman. He has a damage output (blow up a solar system) that Superman can't even come close to matching.
 
A draw. A comic book hero never really dies. And Goku just goes to another dimension to train more and be wished back, or not even that, he can just walk right out of heaven with his halo if he really wants.

As lame as it is to reply, the only correct answer is whomever the writers say would win.

They are fictional characters. Aunt May could beat Galactus if they wrote it that way.
 
Goku easily. If his normal form couldn't handle it, he'd just go super saiyan, and if that fails, he could go super saiyan 2, then 3. By super saiyan 3, super man would be toast.

Which Superman are we talking about here? Pre-Crisis, or Post-Crisis?

Because Pre-Crisis was indestructable, and fucking over powered. -_-

It takes Goku about 6 episodes just to build up enough power to throw a simple fireball. I'm pretty sure Superman isn't just going to sit there chatting that whole time.
 
Superman can fly at like light speed. WTF is Goku going to do? He couldn't even touch him. Plus, we all know it takes Goku at least a whole episode worth of talking and posing before he could even get around to throwing a punch. Superman wins going away.

We all know Superman would lose. A better question would be Batman(with enough prep time) vs Goku. Actually, no it's not, Batman would clearly win.

No way, teleporting is way faster, esp when we're dealing with galaxies :p

Even in the original Dragon Ball people could move fast enough so that spectators couldn't keep track of them. Although that's far from lightspeed, that's really early into the series.

And like someone else said, teleport/instant transmission puts him anywhere instantly. It's different.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason Batman has an edge over Superman is because he has weaknesses Batman can exploit.

And lets remember, Superman PUNCHED reality... I don't know what that means but he did it!

I still think that flash could beat them both. He beat an instantaneous teleporter in a race, true story
 
It all depends.

Will goku be at his over 9000 powerlevels at the start of the fight, or will he power up as the fight goes on?

Will goku make silly poses or just start fighting for once?

Will supes be a wuss and try to find a solution through talking the first 15 minutes, lowering his guard?

Will it be "space jesus" supes or "I'm just fucking powerful" supes?


Oh and Magneto would totally beat GLs ass. While GL would be busy making some retard weapon that wouldn't even dent Magneto's helmet, mags will bring down all he's got to squash that green idiot in front of him. If we're talking about villain Magneto of course.
 
To be honest, as ridiculous as the powers get in Dragon ball the universe still seems to have some set rules about what can and cannot happen, even though they are very liberal. Early Superman can basically do whatever the writers want him to, completely disregarding any logic. So the real answer would probably be that if they fought in the Dragon ball universe Son Goku would kick Superman's ass while if they fought in Superman's universe Son Goku would be subject to whatever gimmick the writers thought up in this episode.
