The comic was awful but it is about BioShock so I'm forced to love it.

Comic is lame, write-up is vacuous but individual words and phrases are well-chosen. Overuse of italics as always. In all, not particularly worthwhile reading unless you've got an inferiority complex about your hobby of choice and need one of your internet heroes to defend its artistic honor with vulgar one-liner.

It seems like Tycho wanted to talk about Bioshock but couldn't quite get the idea for the comic totally fleshed out. The premise (game takes place in reality) is as old as games and comics themselves, the specifics such as the one you pointed out is where the idea really falls flat.

Comic isn't all that good. A missed opportunity, they should've done something in the Bioshock world. Incorporating Bioshock's art style into the comic would've been nice - it's certainly the most outstanding quality of the game, not their use of magic (ice shard! lightning bolt! fireball! etc.).
