Notice how Russia actually buy more games than Germany these days and Brazil is bigger than France.

At least for the case of Russia, I'd have to guess some of that is attributed to the low cost of games there in comparison to Europe where games do tend to be priced even higher than the US. I would like to see profitability by country instead of raw sales numbers. I think that'd be fairly interesting, but the games industry holds so many details close to their chest for some stupid unknown reason...

I live in a Spanish-speaking country and been gaming since, 1991, the early SNES days. The first game i ever saw in Spanish was Pokemon Red/Blue in 1999/2000, then some PC games with crappy fan translations, and THEN the european versions of some PS2 games.

To me, gaming's language is English (which helps learning it).

, if you speak english, you can play anything you want and appreciate dialogs and stories the way they are meant to be. If you don't, you end up playing only FIFA, PES, GTA and NFS (mostly FIFA and PES).

Considering companies fart out money on flashy advertising, over inflating their budgets with an insulting amount of DLC and wallet cash grabs, I'm sure they can spare some money for a mere decent Italian translation.

Sorry but Italians deserve better regardless of the "small market" that actually play games in Italian.
