Got a Galaxy S8, most impressive mobile games?

The trolls are out! Pick up Vainglory, demon's rise, eternal card game, dawn of titans, and space marshals 2 if you want some high fidelity mobile gaming

I will get a ton of shit for this but if you like racing games get Asphalt 8, Asphalt Xtreme and Real Racing.

f2p and filled with ads but I enjoy them in really short sessions.

If you don't mind playing games in japanese then you could download QooApp and get Honkai Impact the visuals in it are impressive for a mobile game.

?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

like, you've tried some oculus games and your takeaway is that it's bad? Is this in comparison so PCVR or do you just dislike VR?

I'll second not being a fan of GearVR; however, there were a few experiences that were "neat". I have a PSVR and have spent time with the Vive... phone VR is not the same.

Note: I still own a GearVR, and it does not ever get used. I probably purchased around 10 games for it before I gave up on the platform. It was sort of neat to play with when I first got my S7, but that's about it. Problem is that it doesn't have depth perception, only directional... VR looses the impact without that.

Edit: If you want to try GearVR, I'd recommend playing "Land's End" or "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" (the latter requires more than one person). The design of these games is simplistic enough for it to work well with the format. I wasn't a fan of stuff like "Eve Gunjack" and "Mortal Blitz", and I thought "Herobound" was just okay. If you have never tried any form of VR, it could be fun to tinker with... just temper your expectations.

Carmageddon

Air attack 2

Strikers 1945 2 and 3

Gunfire

Little inferno

Kingdom rush series

Crazy taxi

Sonic dash

Max payne

Are my favourites

iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage wasn't too shabby either. The upcoming iM@S Million Live rhythm game (Theater Days?) seems to be a bit of a step-up, too.

Yea, Starlight is pretty good also doesn't hurt that it is a decent rhythm game too.

Wait, the VR in GearVR is not 3D?

Just so you know, anyone who here who hasn't posted Kingdom Rush incredibly wrong.

That is the best mobile game on smartphones (IMO), and by far the best tower defense game. In fact it's a step up because of the DOTA like Hero system in the latest entry's.There's another game that game out last year that's also essentially a clone of the Kingdom Rush Series. It's called Realm Defense, but it's actually really good still. The Kingdom Rush series and Realm Defense average a 4.8 rating on the Google Play Store. This isn't bullshit - they're a legitimately some of the high quality mobiles games you can play through.

Realm Defense follows the freemium model, unlike Kingdom Rush, but it works out because you really don't need to spend anything. You just play through the first two world's, three starring all levels and put it all towards the dragon or Ice Wizard hero as they are the best in the game. I've probably put 10+ hours in this game over the past 3 days and I'm on to the 2nd world.

Other games like Limbo, Momument Valley, Sky Force Reloaded, and a bunch of the Final Fantasy games are brilliant on smartphones, but I'd say the Kingdom Rush and Realm Defense and the closets to perfection.

In terms of replay value or total gameplay time, Kingdom Rush, Realm Defense, Sky Force Reloaded, and Final Fantasy Titles give you a ton of value.

The first Kindgom Rush is free now. Play that and if you like, buy the other ones.

Realm Defense is free too (as I've mentioned).

Do Google Play Opinion Rewards to earn credit store credits for doing occasional surveys. I did this to pay for all my apps/games.

Great game, but I don't really think it's all that visually impressive.

I genuinely don't know any better so excuse me for being ingnorant, but is the difference between Gear VR and Google Cardboard that dramatic? I have a Viewmaster Cardboard headset for my 7+. It's interesting but not very immersive.

Whoever is thinking about Dolphin for the S8:
