Got my ps5 since monday but no games

I'm in the same boat as OP. I already got the platinum on Astro's Playroom (which I loved) but I don't have any other game. I, too, thing the price of games is really high.

I want to get Spider-Man Miles Morales and Sackboy, but I don't think they are worth the asking price, even with Spider-Man Remasted included in Miles game's case. I know those games are great but I'll definitely have to wait for a sale.

Astros Playroom was great.
I bought Dirt5 just to have a PS5 game, but it was broken as fuck, so I took it back for a full refund.

Otherwise, it's all PS4 stuff. Cyberpunk has been relatively solid for me, and I'm enjoying it. Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, and good old Pinball FX3 are all superb on the PS5.
Ratchet and Clank is coming.

Well, maybe I have also some other payments in my life and spending 85 euros is waay too much? Ac valhalla cost me only 45 euros thats why I bought it...
 
Did you play Spiderman on PS4? If not, get the deluxe version of Miles Morales. You get both games and the both look pretty damn good on PS5, with lots of display options.

PS. Demon's Souls is worth every cent.
 
Play Astro and plat it.

Definitely get Demon Souls (buy it used for cheaper). If money is tight there is nothing wrong resorting to the used-games market. It's there for a reason. Not really missing much having it on a wrapper, and without. More so today when games install themselves and only use the disc for self-checks.

There are SO many PS4 games which play at the highest framerates/fidelity on PS5, which (for me anyways) is a reason to ONLY want to play em there.

When I (eventually..) get my PS5 I intend play:
- Infamous Second Son
- Wolfenstein II: New Colossus
- Everybody's gone to the rapture
- What remains of Edith Finch
- Rise of the Tombraider
- Ghost of Tsushima (60fps patch)
- Days Gone (60 fps patch)
Just to name a few.

All of them run at steady 60fps at the highest resolution; in stark contrast to its performance on PS4pro. It really is a gamechanger, I can't wait :messenger_fire:

Check out ebay. At least a couple of weeks ago a ton of people were selling Demon Souls and Miles Morales fairly cheap, probably due to buying bundles and not wanting them, and not too many people with PS5's to buy them up. I got Brand New Copies of Demon's Souls and Miles plus the remaster for $45 each. My buddy is loving the new Assassin's Creed and I've seen that cheap as well. I also recommend Destiny 2, which plays really nicely now with the next gen update and free download. Bugsnax and Worms are free for PS5 versions......

I mean until arrives (not sure if you bought retail or not), if you have DS3 it has really good 60FPS PS4 version which is greatly playable on PS5.
 
Buy demon's souls, game is amazing, easily the best game out now. The game isn't too difficult especially if you played other souls games.

Got my Series X at Currys here in Wales after randomly walking in and asking if they had any. Hours later the country goes into early lockdown so the store's closed now. Always thought I'd have to wait until at least February.

No games either, but will get GamePass Ultimate when I open up and set the beast up on Xmas day.

I could buy XSX easily in my country but was afraid there were NO GAMES for it. PS5 got at least free PS+ games, Demon's Souls and Spiderman.

Buy dreams and make your own games, problem solved.
 
PS5 is not worth it before GT7 anyway. Horizon is crossgen and I doubt next GoW will come next year (only title screen so far doesn't bode well).

Don't compare Real Driving Simulator to fun arcade shenanigans. I like NFS too (good ones) but that's comparing Modern Warfare to Fortnite. You shoot in both, right?
 
I sold my Pro + PS4 trash which I could redownload anyway. From that I bought the Pulse, Demon's and DMCV and got some cash to spare.

Games are expensive, which means I won't buy many PS5 games on release. Which means I play the ones I have very extensively. Poured lots os hours in both games. Astro is free and extremely good as well. As are some Plus collection freebies. I have enough to play for the coming weeks, and I have GP on Xbox as well. I actually play a lot more than in the past few years.

Thinking of Black Ops, enjoyed the Beta and its discounted on PSS.

well it comes with Astro's playroom which is lowkey great. And Bug Snax which is more interesting than it should be.
Not to mention ps plus collection which will give u 20 great games.
 
I beat demon's souls, miles and spiderman remastered. Now playing valhalla and fenyx rising. I have too much games in the backlog already

If you want to play right now, just get a digital game. This is 2020
