Some what indifferent to this trailer. It's a bit meh tbf. 0 gameplay at all. Graphically and animation wise, it's superb but based on the vibes I'm getting from the trailer, the story might be a big letdown.

The various idiots in this thread moaning about the graphics and look of the game.......... go look at the RDR2 trailers from the 1st to the last, see the progress and see current gameplay.
Rockstar are the masters at their craft, best in the business, the game will look as good as trailer 2, probably better based on Rockstar history, specific evidence is RDR2.

Not sure I'll ever play it (kinda over open world genre) but the production per square inch is easy to see. It's very impressive and I'm glad there's still real AAA games being built this way.

To me the cops in the trailer hinted they'd be a third playable one. I can't think of a single time that we saw what the "bad guys" were thinking in a Rockstar game directly. It's always been the main character's story and how the worlds reacting to it...

REALLY hoping it's volumetric. Killzone 2 had it 15+ years ago at this point, I'm exhausted of glorified animated 2D textures that look amazing till you catch the wrong angle and it ruins the illusion.

Now my take on all the takes ppl had in this thread:
1) As antifeminist and antiwokeist, trailer looks based af, muscular manly male protag, behaving like a man too, his woman, lucia is properly shaped, thin waist, bubble but, wide childbearing hips,pretty face and long feminine hair(unlike certain bald blasian from a well known cuckhold dev at the top of ND), thats what us tigers like the most, those latino genetics arent there for nothing
2) Visuals- we all know its cinematics, yup - captured on ps5, but same way we had fmv in ff7 looking 20x better from real game, the cinematics will be much better looking from actual realtime gameplay, that is perfectly normal, especially if cinematics dont run real time(but even if they are, they definitely will have better visuals vs interactive open world gameplay).
3)Those new screenshots look amazing but mostly passable for actual real gameplay, ofc till we see it we dont know if/how much those screenies were doctored vs actual gamefootage- we simply cant know that yet, realtime gameplay trailer will give us more info about that

Sadly, no. Best we can hope for is for them spitting out a remaster with upgrades from the PC version dialing it up. Higher resolution shadows, lighting and 4K textures at 60fps. These current machines are more than capable of doing that.
