Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2

Honestly I'm not a huge GTA fan or anything, I enjoyed the games, but don't thirst over them, and I think that was an absolutely incredible trailer.

The only complaint I have is that the lead female has "video game face" where her facial animations look decidedly worse/less realistic than all of the other characters in the trailer, even the NPCs.

But wow, finally something showing what a big budget and a lot of time can do.

I honestly dont know if this is parody.
Fox is gonna be wild when this releases.

The left have spent too long being the biggest dweebs in gaming discourse. The pendulum swing back to conservatives will be full tilt with GTA6

This graphics are 100% possible, these are real time cinematics, what's impressive is how talented Rockstar devs are. But don't expect this kind of fidelity in the gameplay, not saying is going to look gorgeous, but in cinematics they can punch above their weight.
Angles do matter.
Like this shot of John Wick, it looks like it has the graphics of an old video game due to how it was shot, despite actually being real life.

The same effect happens when switching between in-game cutscenes to player controlled scenes.

I dont know how to feel about this game tbh. The world itself looks cool, alive, and active, but from what they've shown outside of the 2 main characters constantly jumping into each other's arms, it doesn't or hasn't done anything to excite me gameplay wise, yet. It's kinda like a proof of concept / graphical engine showcase rather than a game trailer.

Ehh, what the fuck are you talking about? Rockstar doesn't do 'misleading' trailers. Go look at RDR2 trailers and tell me the game looks worse (the game actually looks better).

Now get real and stop judging Rockstar for what other publishers do.

Yeah, but I don't like RDR2 because of its graphics, I like it because of the narrative and open-world systems. I never said RDR2 looked worse than its trailers, or that Rockstar makes misleading trailers. I just said that I am not excited by non-gameplay trailers like this one.

They don't provide a good indicator of what a fun gaming experience will be like. The only thing they can really do is get one intrigued by a game's narrative and world, which this one doesn't really do. I am not sure what the hook or mystery of the story is.

Its hard for me to get excited for this game when they bring another trailer but still no actual gameplay.

My biggest issue with modern R* games the actual game itself are not fun to play.

Hype! I'm waiting for an Xbox price drop.
Hopefully it comes before GTA 6's release.

I'm sure there will be many enhanced gameplay systems, as the leaks showed, but GTA and RDR are amazing because Rockstar creates the most realized game worlds. Just roaming around their games is like nothing else in gaming

Honestly, the only thing I'm not feeling is Jason's voice. It sounds off, as if it doesn't suit him. Which is odd, that's a first for me with a Rockstar game.
Yeah, I do have to admit, it sounds weird. I'm not against his voice, it just doesn't seem to fit him too much. But, I think I will get over that.

I don't "feel" the game yet. Whatever they made, it kind of resembles a TV series trailer. It's like... Remove Dexter guy from the show and leave all the cops and bandits/killers do their thing - voila, same shit: Miami Electric Boogalo #12345.

While I know that this game will sell an obscene amount, I personally doubt I will play it. Like under 5%. I won't say never, especially since I don't even know what it plays like, but I can't say I feel anything after watching both trailers. I guess it is at least good that I don't utterly hate it...

That last GIF has me almost convinced we're looking at gameplay graphics here folks.

If this turns out to be gameplay graphics and animations I'm buying a PS5 Pro along with this DAY. FUCKING. ONE !!
it says in the trailer captured on a PS5. right? or people were trolling?

How the lighting/Shaders-materials are implemented is what really elevates the whole visual presentation.... which should be the expectation for this Gen anyway.
The asset density and its fidelity are really what is overwhelming, and that is where the money is really spent.

Meh.
I mean the graphics are nice and the characters seem likable, but this didn't really show a whole lot more than the first trailer.
Hopefully the next one actually shows some gameplay.
Why do you need gameplay for this, we know what to expect, it's GTA, we know 95% how it plays. It's a bit early to provide gameplay anyway. No one is on the fence about it, relying on gameplay, it's either you love GTA or not.

Looks really degenerate, trailer park, hood ratchet and ghetto even by previous GTA standards. A lot of the characters shown look down right disgusting, especially the females. Also, our guy Jason looks like a literal male model, but of course his "female?" wasn't given the same luxury. Ah well, it is current year, so it's expected. The gameplay better at least be drastically improved compared to GTAV, so hopefully we get MGSV tier gunplay and maneuverability. :messenger_sunglasses:

I never was interested in GTA and when I see this trailer once again I see nothing appealing me. (Grounded real world story are not my thing)
Looks like a teenage wet dreams.

To each their own.
I should maybe try once out of curiosity.

There's still a lot they haven't shown so if you're not into the trailer park and ghetto areas than they're definitely more parts of the city that would be more of your style. I'm guessing the areas they shown are early in the game while the inner city would be later once they move up with the money. And Lucia looks way better than all the other recent western female characters and she actually got a very sexy body too.

Is this a game or movie?
I miss the old days when games were games...

Yeah, like we have a game of this caliber once every three months or something. If anything, there are more gamey ass games than ever these days, just use Steam and get a cheap PC if you want pure gameplay with Indy graphics.

The first true AAAA game

Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 would follow up. Hope both of those are 1 billion in budget each. And maybe Witcher 4 could reach this level too.
