100% on RT after 13 reviews

Sure, there's only 13 reviews so far...
...but just read some them

If the film past is dead, Gravity shows us the glory of cinema's future. It thrills on so many levels. And because Cuar‪ón is a movie visionary of the highest order, you truly can't beat the view.

A master class in fluid camerawork, bold, unfussy imagery and special effects that put most recent Hollywood blockbusters to shame.

At once the most realistic and beautifully choreographed film ever set in space, Gravity is a thrillingly realized survival story spiked with interludes of breath-catching tension and startling surprise.

Best space movie ever? Nope. This is.

Dear god. We don't need comparisons to 2001. It's going to happen, naturally.

Either way I'm just so excited to see another Cuaron film. He's one of the best working.

I can't believe I am anticipating a movie with Sandra Bullock in it, but by gods... Alfonso Cuarón can get me to do anything :(

I was all excited then looked and this still doesn't come out for a month? Still, it should be great.

So it's Open Water in space?

Well, now you've given me an idea for a movie about a person stranded in space being menaced by space-sharks. BRB, selling idea to SyFy.

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

I mean, yes, George Clooney was great in Burn After Reading. But I don't go see George Clooney movies on opening weekend.

Fuck you Alfonso Cuaron for making me spend money.

Definitely will be watching Gravity. But there are still good Space movies out there. Alien. Fifth Element. Event Horizon. etc.

Only notable complaint so far is that the script gets a bit too sentimental somewhere within; everything else points to this being a revelatory survival-horror set up there. No way I'm not going to miss any local previews of this!

Day one.

Bullock gets a weird amount of hate.

she's in like a zillion movies where she plays the same slightly eccentric love interest who has a quirky yet warm personality and plays to the same exact romantic comedy tropes as if she is running on treadmill

and even when she's trying to act seriously, she has a fairly limited range, with a voice that is sometimes completely impossible to take seriously because of the strange way she emphasizes some words like they all have a cherry on top

i mean I'd say it's fair to be skeptical about her body of work at this point. But Gravity seems like it will be great despite that so i'm giving it a shot

I still don't even know what this movie is about, but the trailer was in front of pacific rim. Also Alfonso knows how to make a movie.

I think the teaser was pretty clear about what it is about

two astronauts stranded in space

90 minutes of mostly Sandra Bullock and George Clooney? Ugh.

There was a similar movie (Marooned) with Gregory Peck, Gene Hackman, Richard Crenna, and the guy from the Fugitive. That got old pretty quick.
