I feel like there could have been less dialogue on the whole. The visuals can stand for themselves, clearly, so when characters are reinforcing certain themes of loneliness and separation, etc. it's a bit heavy-handed. It doesn't really bring down the movie like something such as Elysium, but it's just one nitpick if I had to give it.

I was surprised how religion also figures into the movie, but in a preachy way. I'm very excited to talk about that here after others have seen it.

I've already watched it twice and will probably catch it at least two more times when it hits mainstream theaters next month.
This film holds up to repeat screenings extremely well.

I also still don't know why everybody is getting a boner about wasting their money on seeing the IMAX version of this, considering it wasn't shot for IMAX and won't take up more than 2/3rds of the screen.

When you will see it, you will know why. You will want to see it as big as possible.

I briefly read what to expect with the 3D and cinematography and it potentially sounds more groundbreaking than Avatar. I am maximally hyped now! Yeah, losing RDJ in this and PTA's new film sucks, but it sounds like he wants to move away from genre fare and back to more serious movies anyway. Hope his Judge film next year turns out well.

I saw this movie today, it's really good, very tense, amazing cinematography and music/sound.

It sucks when you're super busy at work but also want to do things. Good thing I drink like 10 cups of coffee a day and get like 4 hours of sleep anyways. The only reason I can post on gaf at work is because I do a lot of small in-between things where I have nuggets of like 15 seconds to a minute where I can post like this.
