I Wanna Be The Guy
U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
Well at least the final Vita kick in the balls is out of the way now.
Game looks good.

The remaster should be a low key release at something like $15. No idea why people want a physical

Because this box art is sexy as all hell.

So they are updating the first game? Hopefully the world will feel a little more alive and realized with the extra power they have.
I can't wait to Kat on the big screen in a crisp high def.

I'd love to count Yakuza 1 remake and Yakuza 6 in 2016 for West but I know for sure as heck they are not coming hahaha.
Love that series though... Yakuza 1 and 2 were my absolute favourites.... so I hope we get a remake of 2 as well.

You know I don't even know anymore. This is a very different Sony that seemingly wants that old PS2-level variety. With them having helped Sega catch up with their third party production for Yakuza 5, I could possibly see Sega taking a shot with Yakuza 6. Ofcourse, there's the reality check that it's certainly possible they pass on it again until it actually happens.
Really? People here are this adverse to digital titles? I'd be thankful it's coming here at all. It's like Dual Destinies all over again.
How did you come to that conclusion?
Why should the remaster release be low-key?
Of course it's coming to western markets.
Oh I agree it'll surely come. But the PS Blog comments make it clear they're not announcing that at this time. Just saying.Dude, that's not even up for debate. Of course Gravity Rush 2 is coming to the west.
Because its an uprez with minor tweaks of a portable game. Compare it to something like Tearaway Unfolded or Ratchet and Clank which are both $40. A standard remaster of a portable game should not be in the $40 and would be better suited as a PSN game. Or a more direct comparison would be Kingdom Hearts 2.8 which has a bunch of bonuses on top of KH3D.
Simply porting a portable game to console shouldnt justify a physical release.
And i say this loving Gravity Rush.

What? This is a remaster of a $40 retail title. Nothing about this suggests they could reasonably release this for $15 in any format.

Do PS4 games get $15 physical releases with a disc?
The fact they put Bluepoint on the port shows Sony cares about this IP, makes me feel good to see.
Would buy physical edition if we get that boxart.

This game, if originally launched on PS4 not as a remaster, would have been $60 at launch. I see no reason this should be $15 as a remaster. $30-$40.
Ah, interesting. On the US blog yeah, but the EU blog post was different and had the announcement of GR2, so it's at least confirmed for EU.
Certainly, they probably want to hype up the need for people to support the remaster first before anything else.I think SCEA is not ready to talk about it since it's a year off. I'm hopeful we'll get confirmation by the end of the year though.
Its a straight remaster of a portable game with no real remake enhancements.....why does everyone think its crazy that I think it should be really cheap?Snoozer. Dude. What are you talking about? In saying it's nuts to suggest this be a $15 release, regardless of the format.

No it would not...GR1 is not a $60 game no matter which way you cut it

It has very average gameplay scenarios and not a ton of content, and doesnt look so great compared to pretty much any full release current gen title?Yes it is? In what world is GR1 NOT a $60 console game?

As previously stated, it should not be charged full price as the port adds little more than "ooh look so shiny". $30-$40 at the most, if this was a just world. Of course, we know that's not going to happen and that's pretty shitty.

I would've loved a Vita version as well as the PS4 version. Either way, more people get to have fun with Kat again!
