Gravity Rush 2 launches December 2 in NA, new trailer

HYPE! So happy it's coming this year!

This and Last Guardian will own my PS4 this fall.


QUESTION - Should I bother with Gravity Rush 1? I skipped for not having a Vita, but it always intrigued me.

The PS4 version is out. You should definitely check it out.

Get the PS4 remaster it's more than worth it. I didn't play the Vita one and was going to but the PS4 remaster dropped around the time I was going to get it. I loved it.
 
OK, but what's with that gross vignetting in the trailer? I hope that's not part of the game, or at least that it can be turned off. It's so strong it looks like a flight sim blackout effect.

The remaster on PS4 is excellent, and it's a fantastic game. And it's only $40, and probably even cheaper by now. It's an easy recommendation.
 
Whew. Looks like some of the stuff that got cut from the first game might be making an appearance here. Call me excited. Now I need that CE.

Now I don't know where to fit new hot shot. January? "We don't new new hot shot because we have too many games"
Hopefully some news at TGS.

the synchronized awkward anime yelling sold me ;)

Some of the costumes look sexualized which is disappointing for this kinda game.

Can't wait to try the first game soon!

Let's hope! The itch to get back into the series is real. Definitely looking forward to GR2 for the holidays, though. I'm extremely surprised the US launch wasn't set for next year.

It shouldn't be in the game, check out one of the long play-throughs of the E3 demo.

this everything is sexualised nowadays is getting pretty annoying
 
I'm super excited for this after first playing GR through the Remaster a few months ago. It's going to be really cool to go from the ported Vita game to something actually meant to be played on the PS4 from the start.c
 
Maybe it's because I'm mostly a portable gamer, but I have no interest in the game as a home console game, and Gravity Rush was my favorite handheld game this gen, even over the amazing 3DS exclusives. Gravity Rush felt like a reserved, personal experience and part of the wonder was that it was a charming open world on a handheld, with a unique control scheme that felt natural. It was obviously built for the Vita's features.

Better crossing over to a home console than sinking with Sony's handheld venture, but I don't think it's the right fit for the IP.

And yay!! Damn this is pretty. Now let's ask Sony the same question over and over again, "Where is the CE?". Was so annoying to import the Japanese one. For the first remaster that is.
