GRAW 2 Unveiled (360) Pics and Vid

Looks hot to me, and c'mon guys, how much diversity do you want from a game primarily set in the Middle East

i was under the impression that it's set in Mexico like the first GRAW

:)

GRAW, Splinter Cell: DA, Rainbox Six: Vegas, GRAW 2, . . . Tom Clancy overload.

Ubi better be careful and not burn out that Tom Clancy IP . . . they are milking that cash cow like crazy.

The next Splinter Cell game is already in the works, too late!

Might looks huh!?
Hope they revamp the gameplay and play mechanics... Is a controlable vehicle to much to ask for? Ubi put youre best efforts on this awesome IP!

Each of the games plays differently and they're all excellent games. I don't think it's actually milking until they start feeling half-assed.

It goes to show you what an untrained eye can appreciate. You see, I posted the whole set earlier today in the 360 Screenshot Thread (56k no) and thought they looked freaking awesome. Like: "****ing hell I can't believe they're making games that look this real. I can imagine why some people that are mentally unstable could be pushed over the edge with this kind of realism."

And people here are like "OMG it looks just like the last one!"

Now here's the question: How much more can it seriously be improved? Hell, the game already looks like reality to me. Without starting a shitstorm in the wrong thread, is this a case of diminishing returns? Are we really that close to where improvements are really not noticeable? I'm definitely not a graphics expert, but I know what looks good...and this game looks like real freaking life to me.

More over: when we are already this close to reality (visual), where are we still needing improvement? Physics? AI? Water Physics? More realistic wind? How long until we can expect the even greater realism?

Just an amateur here wondering what its gonna take for a game to get your graphical approval.

It's not the amount of Tom Clancy franchises that's alarming, it's the frequency at which they release them. Yearly games are at best 8.0s

They really need to improve the graphics on the MP portion of GRAW. It was disappointing playing on mediocre graphics after I was spoiled on the SP portion.

I really hope they tone down the HDR lighting this time. It was incredibly annoying in the first and really ****ed up my view most of the time. I'd have to constantly aim as far away from the sky as I could while still being able to see in front of me.

It really does look almost exactly like GRAW 1 but I did like that game a lot so I'll probably get this too. Just give me lots of online co-op maps!

Can we expect a price cut for the first one, now? I've never wanted to put $60 on it (got 360 when Dead Rising came out).

Today Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter™ 2, the next installment in the popular squad-based action franchise, is currently in development for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the PSP® system and Windows® PC. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter™ 2 is scheduled for worldwide release in Spring 2007.

:o

Looks good, but I wish UBI would add some CHARACTER to these miltary sims, the protagonists feel a bit generic. That said, they are great games.

generic protagonists and tom clancy go together like peanut butter and jelly (if you arent allergic to peanuts)

isnt that just art? those don't look like screens.

graw2 is slightly more detailed, but i see it moreso on character models instead of the environments.

Speaking of fire (even though no one was actually speaking about fire)... They should have a flamethrower in this one.

Mmmm BBQ.

The first GRAW was buggy as hell. I had to give up on the game because of a 100% reproducible progression blocking bug that I encountered while protecting tanks driving through the city while I was on rooftop. I read forum after forum of people having the same issue. If anything, they need to play test these games a little longer before releasing them to the public.

Man, why do they have to make them look so obviously touched up? Ugh... the game looked good as it was naturally...

And as much as I had fun with GRAW, I'll probably be skipping on the second one, as I only really played with friends, never on my own (although we REALLY played the hell out of it for months) - and I didn't like the price point of the DLC at all...

Plus I hated the night and day difference between SP and MP, both in visuals and gameplay... Gears has proven that both can actually look and play the same... step your game up Ubi - it's another thing I hate about Tom Clancy games that has been made even more painfully obvious in this new-gen (GRAW, SC: DA and R6:V) - it's like owning two different games on one disc...

That's where I quit.
