I liked the original ME's realistic armor for women. Now it looks like it's designed to appeal to the "bros" who started with ME2.

Came here to post this. This is easily the best guest design from Fire Emblem Awakening. Cape around his forearm? Amazing. Goes perfectly with how his sword sheath rests behind his back. The Sword of Seals itself looks closer to how it did in the original sprite animations too. I wish he'd be a character in a new game so they could use this. I'd love to see that cape animated.

Lunar: Eternal Blue. Very simple, yet iconic design. Great use of color as a distinguishing feature, each character has a unique silhouette, elaborate without being overboard and going too far.

Not sure the general consensus among other Klonoa fans, but I definitely like his Klonoa 2 design better purely from a design perspective (though they should have gone the whole way and lost the stupid red shoes too). That said, it definitely lacks a bit of charm of the original.


He also got another redesign for the Wii-make of Door to Phantomile that seems to be a hybrid of the first two designs. I'm not sure where this stands with the other games though:
