I'm not playing online yet, just trying to finish single player and get some cash, but thanks anyway.
Seriously can anyone shed some light on this for me, here's my question again:
I sold off everything, staying out of BAWSAQ until I see what happens. I think the goal of the big sell-off is to get the price of HAL and PIS back down to the $1-2 again so we can reinvest again and get the huge dividends like earlier, it's not to move on to a different stock. Why bother with WIZ? It's only down 4%, there's no gains to be made with that.

Funny if this was all just ruse created by Reddit to raise the price of PIS and in the end they don't sell, just wait for HAL to fall and go balls deep.
Just a thought.
I'm doing my second playthrough, and I've heard you can leave Lester's assassinations until the end to max out the investment profits. But apparently it's forcing me to at least do the first one in order to progress, Franklin says he can't do the second FIB job until he "does something for Lester first." Is that how it works, you have to the first one and then you can leave the rest for later?

VAG is the jewelry store right? Mine has been in the red since after the heist and I've completed more or less everything now.
Yes, make sure you invest all characters into Betta Pharmaceuticals (on BAWSAQ) before talking to Lester.
Yes the jewellery store. I read in a guide it's supposed drop to like 50 a share after the heist, then gradually rise again to make you a profit. I'm not seeing any movement in the stock prices and I don't want to miss the window.
I'm really hoping the online launch doesn't throw everything off -- though I am expecting the worst. (fingers crossed)
I just sold all my PIS. Just in case people got squirrely and sold before 6pm
What should I invest all my monies in right now?
I wouldn't touch that stock because you aren't done running into them.Want some advice on what to do with my money after the second heist
Just did the heist with Trevor in the submarine (I did the offshore version if that makes any difference). I'm expecting Merryweather shares to drop in a little bit as a result of it.Will they recover afterwards? Should I be buying Merryweather stock when I see it drop?
Must. Resist. Urge. To. Sell.
I've more than doubled my money at this point 1 hour and 15 minutes is so far away. ;_;
Is there a sell time set for HAL?
Bawls is down for me, can't see my profile.
Sad face.
I hope there was no panic and everyone just rushed in to sell crashing the social club.
Just sold all my PIS stock. From a 15mil investment for each character, I made 36mil back. Definitely can't complain.
I won't be investing in anything for now. I'm going to be busy working all week and I don't want to risk not having the time to properly monitor this stuff. We'll see how the market is next weekend when I have more time and Online is in full swing (hopefully).
I'm selling as soon as I get home from work...
"Officer, yes sir, I know I was speeding but I'm gonna lose a shit-ton of money if I don't get home before 6pm and sell!"
Like I just said... That's fine if you're not playing in between, but reverting to an almost week old save would be really painful as I'm still working on activities and other side missions. So, why are people being conservative on investing when we have save states in this game?
You can put all your money in any fund using different saves, if one happens to tank, revert back to before you ever invested?
There's zero risk in this whole process. I sold PIS this morning, then I saw it was worth more when I got home, reverted my save and sold even higher. I'm sure we all know this, but it certainly takes any perceived risk completely out of the equation.
I wouldn't touch that stock because you aren't done running into them.
