That reflection.

Impressive video, even on mobile.

I'm already convinced to double-dip but that was a nice read for those curious about the kind of work that went into this. Hype levels steadily rising.

Omg! My wait is justified! I almost got it for PS3 once, only once.

Yeah, it was hard for me to wait as well. But I just knew it had to be released on the new-gen hardware. So far that gamble has only halfway paid off:

Wait for Next Gen Versions

Looks great! Physics, puddles, reflections, plants, foliage, etc. All the little details will add up. Hopefully the overall IQ is better as well.

a tiny detail that i can't imagine being in this, but would be dope if the old classic cars in first person had some animations for manual shifting.

Day one on PS4 for me. I beat the story on PS3, but didn't really play in the world/multiplayer much before trading it in. I have a feeling it won't be that way this time.

Nice upgrade but I absolutely hate depth of field blur, the third image in the OP shows it on all distant objects, horrible. Edit - cars at night scene showcases the effect even more. Why do people think this is a good idea? It's not realistic, eyes are not fixed focus things.

If by insane you mean that the puddles reflect only environment map and not the cars themselves... yeah. That IS insane. :)

Not sure it's a good enough shot to really judge that. Couldn't care less though. I was more talking about the road itself, the texture of the paint, cracks, asphalt, etc.

Sigh. It really does look too impressive to dismiss. Any opinions from lady GAfers about whether I'll be able to overlook the horrific misogynist themes enough to enjoy the game?

Man the differences in that HQ video are incredible! So much flickering and shimmering that has been cleared up. It's particularly obvious in the first segment with all the foliage
