I dont think we will be getting a pc version anytime soon if not ever.
Rockstar said:-- Special Ability Boost - Michael, Franklin and Trevor each have a unique special ability. With this boost, the special ability bar will generate 25% faster;
Which version gets me the garage, actually? That's the one I'm going for.

Ugh .. why all these extra gameplay feats. More and free weapons? 25% faster recharge of special abillities?
That shit affects your entire game.
I don't see anything wrong with it. Just options for games, just like everything else you can buy. You can get a HDTV with or without the smart internet stuff, you can get a car with or without XM, etc. That kind of customization has come to games. If you don't care about that other stuff, don't buy it and keep trucking.
When did offering options become a bad thing?
These comparisons to other non-game related purchases always seem strange to me. We're talking about computer games. Computer games used to have in-game rewards and unlockables, which you are now paying extra money for as DLC/Pre-Order incentives.
That's the issue I have.
All of it is just trivial stuff. It may make the beginning easier, but after a short while, none of it will matter. You'll find/buy better guns/cars/garages and that 25% faster recharge of special abilities will more than likely shave off just 1 second.
Hopefully we at least get the blimp with a standard edition pre order. Maybe Rockstar will go EA and release everything as dlc...
So you already know that GTA V won't have rewards and unlockables? Just like RDR had some pre order exclusives like a horse and an outfit, yet it also had rewards and unlockables.
Oh wait...
Yes they be frilly extras, but if there so worthless and pointless why sell them in the first place? Yes, we don't have to buy them, blah blah blah, but it's content lost if we don't. Content that previously would have been in the game as a possible reward or unlockable.
First of all, so for the snarkiness.
Second, the majority of stuff used for pre order/SE exclusives are stuff that was already cut from the main game (meaning that if not for these exclusives, we'd never see them in the first place) or cheat codes disguised as an item. They then add them back into the SE to make them look enticing. They also use them as pre order exclusives to apiece retailers demands.
I have to honest, i would have really liked for the controllable Blimp to be a surprise (until now i thought it was going to be a prop, like a building) in the final game.
It really is becoming a joyless industry, without any innocence left. :|
which to preorder tho... ps3 or 360?

No. If it's not from R*'s mouth, it's speculation.

I work for Fnac Belgium. They haven't got the slightest idea what a video game even is. So...yeah...
$149.99?

Anyone know GS policy on putting money down on a collector's edition? Is there a minimum amount you have to put down, or pay in full? I'm leaning heavily toward getting it, but I'm about to buy a new car and don't really need to be dropping 150 bones at the moment.
