I can't wait until 2017, when there are PCs that can run GTAV at a good frame rate.
Don't want to risk the story being spoiled for me, so I'm grabbing the PS3 version and beating it, but I'd love a PS4 or PC version some time next year.
Yeah, the track record on PC ports is not stellar here. I probably won't resist getting it for PS3 or 360, whichever version is better.
oh jeeeeeeeeeeeeez this thread![]()
that shit is a day one purchase. some developers deserve the benefit of the doubt and I'm sticking with Rockstar and GTA5 at launch. Gameplay > Graphics. I'm way more excited by the prospect of launching myself off a cliff while turbo boosting in a tank, launching myself out, flying squirrel suit gliding towards the ocean and landing on a jet ski and riding into a sunset.
You guys have fun watching the youtube clips. Imma go do that shit now and then I'll double dip because Rockstar is worth it if it ever comes out on PC.
They kept RDR off PC.... let's just keep that in mind.
Me, fuck experiencing this game for the first time in 640p and 20 FPS.
Gameplay > Graphics.
I will wait, simply because I will never double dip on a Rockstar game in the future. They want as many people as possible to double dip. That's the sole reason they're holding back the PC version I believe. I think this is a scummy practice which I don't want to support.
Do you actually think Rockstar is holding on to a playable PC version that's even remotely close to being ready to go at this point just so they can get a few double dip sales when they put it out in six to eight months? They're not holding back anything, Rockstar North has since GTA III, focused on consoles and then later either offload the code to another branch to port as what was done with GTA III, Vice City and GTA IV or do it themselves after finishing the console version. Though admittedly last generation the GTA III era was restricted by the real with Sony, but that's besides the point.
