I'm skeptical about the PC version myself due to the terrible taste GTAIV left in my mouth. I tried to re-install it the other day and was met with so many performance problems that I gave up once again. That being said, Max Payne 3 was stellar on the PC so I'd imagine a PC port of GTA V, despite the very different technical requirements, would be much better than IV.

Apparently, GTAV is based off of the Max Payne 3 version of their engine so the port should have a very solid base.

I have done so much eye rolling the last two days.

The game looks fantastic. Can it look better on PC? Yes. Let's not over exaggerate here. Blurry, ugly mess?

Not sure if many people here either have poor vision or haven't played games using a medium-high end pc. Or it doesn't bother them.
Personally play games for fun however can't see how it's hard to understand why lots of people wouldn't want a superior cleaner/prettier immersive experience with a stable framerate if the option was there and owns a good pc. Also cheat codes and mods for mayhem goodness.

GTA IV is almost night and day difference in native res + further draw distance, lod, aa, increased car & population imo.

Own handhelds, consoles and pc. When there is a choice I'll go with visual clarity and a smooth experience if it's a multi-platform game.

I mean you'd buy a bluray if it was cheaper than the dvd provided you had a bluray player and so did your friends/family if you lend things. Yeah?

People are very naive it seems though when it comes to never thinking that others have a very different perspective/value from person to person.

If it doesn't come out on pc or ps4 I'll likely pass.

Really now? GTA IV was virtually unplayable for just about everyone when it was first released on the PC. There wasn't any hardware on the market that could play it at a reasonably consistent framerate. That won't be the case this time, though.

I have a good gaming PC, I just don't give a shit like some people I guess. I have fun without worrying about how much graphical fidelity I'm missing out on, it's about the gameplay first and foremost, and rarely has a framerate hindered my ability to enjoy a game.

I would love a superior version, but it's not available, and there's no date yet. I'm not waiting like a year to play this game which by all accounts is fun as shit.

That said, I will gladly double dip once the PC version is available, mostly for mods & to see the better performance.

im on gaming since the late seventies,i love virtual wordls,its my "holy grial" i become a gamer to experience virtual worlds,man i have been on the sand box genere since the spectrum mercenary from novagen,castle master,freescape,elite,etc etc

gta5 its the finest representation of a virtual world i haven seen on my entire life,they nailed it,the first time u see a storm at night you will be in awe,the way the ships behave on water,how the sea spray form around the ship when hits wave.etc etc

i havent seen anything with that attention to detai in my life,and i have a beefy pc with things like arma 3 (who looks empty if you put side by side)

good graphics are more than resolution or big textures...im pretty sure a pc version will be better,but as now..this is the version any player can get..and for me its the finest graphical achievement i have seen on my 40 years as a gamer
