Is it a mistake or are they giving it away for free?
I remember when that movie "Armored" was released before free. I think it was still in theaters.
 
Downloading. Too bad you have to sign out of your account to use PSN games tied to another account on the PSP though =\

What happens if you just search for Vice City Stories? Full priced? Might be the issue i'm having with Media Go!.
 
Whats the process of using more than one account on a single PSP?

Just put the different accounts item on there and only that'll be playable and when I want to switch back just add something from the original account and it'll reactivate it on that psp. Something like that?
 
Is it actually playable? I thought the GTAs on PSN (the first two) had the really bad lag because Sony compressed it? (And Take Two didn't care to ask them to fix it, which Sega had to do for a couple games. And Konami for one of the Silent Hills)
 
This game was such a disappointment when I got my PSP I never ended up rebuying it when I switched from the PSP slim to a Go. Will give it another try now.

Yep. You can keep content from different accounts on the memory stick but you'll only be able to play content from the currently active account.

I'm speaking from experience with Liberty City Stories only, but the game does have atrocious stuttering and frame-rate drops. It's still playable and is still the closest thing to a full GTA-"console experience" on the go. For $10, I'd recommend it. For free, it's definitely worth your time to try it out.
 
Yeah, its telling how much interest I have in the game when making a EU PSN account is to much effort. I am just don't really want to play the PSP GTAs.

I actually have it (VCS) on UMD, which is fine (unless you drive, really, really fast). But I've heard terrible things about the PSN version...

What actually made me quit playing it, was the horrible ghosting (I had a 1000 when I bought it) of all the car's brake lights. First thing that made me realize the 1000/2000 had a ghosting problem.
 
This was really a great game, I bought it right before gta4 hit to ease the wait a little.
 
I own the PSN version and unless they've updated it (and I'm not burning 1.8GB to find out) the PSN version suffers insane slowdown compared to the UMD version.

Also, this is like the 7th time this has happened in the EU. First with Manhunt 2, then Need for Speed, Undead Knights, etc.
 
Thanks a bunch, Wario. I love these kinds of online store futz-ups. I can't tell you how many free games I've gotten due to mistakes like this. :D

Is there no "franchise" button on the german psn store ? cant find it for free....stupid !!!
 
Just had read around the PSN Community forums, and found out that this PSN version apparently suffers from intermittent drops in frame rate which aren't present in the UMD version. This occurs on any PSP revision(1000-3000 and GO), and is in addition to the frame rate drops the game already exhibited on the retail release.

I have the franchise button on the PSN store, and i am not from UK or NZ. So i guess it varies by region.

Downloading, sounds like the game has some technical problems, but free is free.
