Saints Row is just too silly for me. GTA is sat nicely between the likes of The Getaway (plz come back) and Saints Row. Not too serious, not too silly.

I tried getting into Saints Row but there's just far too much going on and I always seemed to get shot at after starting a new game.

I was anticipating that the first video would be multiplayer but yeah, a more robust reveal for that seems likely.

Even if they never port the full game to next gen, I could see them putting GTA Online out there so it can grow with PS4/ONE.

No, San Andreas really wasn't anything like Saints Row. Was it crazier than GTA4? Absolutely. But it didn't go completely insane like SR3. That's all those SA fans want from GTA5. And from what little we know it does seem like they're moving back in that direction, or at least it won't be as serious as GTA4 often tried to be.
