GTX 1080ti Specs leaked

Interesting. This will be crazy.

Whats interesting about it? It's sort of between a 1080 and Titan, just like previous 80 series Ti cards.. it still wont be enough for consistent 4K60 and you'll just have to buy the replacement in a year for similar results.

The high end is really uninteresting. They just aren't powerful enough for what people expect them to be able to do.

Depends on how much they will charge for a 1080 ti. If it is close to the 1080 price, then yes you fucked up in a major way.

:(

Of course it's not going to be near a 1080. That really would make no sense.

Depends on what card you had ;) If you have a 980 and above with 1080p? Yes you did. 1440p? Not really. As with all Nvidia leaks/launches, these things take for-goddamn-ever to show up sometimes.

Yup, I mean if you are prepared to shell out a bit more money.

I do 1440p gsync and VR, sold my 980. I would have probably dropped slightly more for a better option, really wish I knew the timeline on this.

Then I would tell you that you're fine.

Saying this will be $699 or $749 is extremely optimistic, gotta pay the troll toll with Nvidia.

TDP is too high for my tastes. Anything beyond 200W isn't good for me.
Then get a 1070, why are you looking at 1080 and above?

But... But... Scorpio isn't coming out till next Fall! Are you telling me the most powerful console in the WORLD and the ones to follow it are already obsolete???

That's just crazy to me and why I'm hesitant to jump in PC gaming
This is essentially the top of the line, and unless you're running a multi-monitor/4k set up, you really don't "need" this card to have an enjoyable experience.

My wife uses a GTX 580 which is really old at this point, and it still runs most things just fine with slightly lowered settings at 1080p.

Pretty sure you don't need a 1080ti for that. Lower end cards are fine for this job already.

I hate that I'm linking this site, but for comparison. Looks to be very beefy, I made the right decision :) waiting from a 980Ti

Seems realistic. But it's early. I would've expected the Ti in Q2 2017. Or is the leak THAT early?

If It's $750, I'll use EVGA to step up from my 1070.

I was a bit confused with EVGA and their step up programme. Is it only within the current gen of cards you can step up, or could you go from 1070 to a future 2070 with it?

Will it play Undertale? I just bought it.

Only with SLI.
I heard the frame pacing is awful in SLI Undertale, a stuttery mess.

There is some belief that it gets announced at CES 2017.

This could cost 1000 dollars, right?
desperately trying to look positively on my Titan X Pascal buy ...
Maybe a hybrid model, but probably not.

With no competition, It will probably retail in Europe for 1.000 euros, or close. I would wait for Vega to release before buying.

I was gonna buy a 1080 shortly but I suppose I'll wait for Ti pricing in case there is a fluke of reality and it's $800 or less. Because I would bet with specs so close to the Titan X they'll do $1000 or $1200 this time around. The 980Ti last gen just didn't make sense (don't remember all the context to its release, but it was too good of a deal compared to 980)

Stealth brag

Yeah I know this is the "u crazy mang" product but i wouldn't know where to jump in other than a relatively top model that came out a few years or a mid end from this year or whatever
This is for the people that want the bleeding edge. It doesn't take a $700+ gpu to have incredible performance.
I just want steady frame rate and not have to put every settings in low and still be dissapointed

How does this compare to the 980ti?

GTX 980 TI Engine Specs:
2816 CUDA Cores
1000 Base Clock (MHz)
1075 Boost Clock (MHz)
176 Texture Fill Rate (GigaTexels/sec)

GTX 980 TI Memory Specs:

7.0 Gbps Memory Clock
6 GB Standard Memory Config
GDDR5 Memory Interface
384-bit Memory Interface Width
336.5 Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)

Fucks it up.
