Guess what the Vita E3 Reveals will be

Infamous Vita: Might be a port from PS3 of the two first games (if they fit) with UGC available to play on the Vita, but not create.
Might also be a chunkier follow up to the Festival of Blood-game.
Tilt-controls would probably work nice in bat-mode.

Pixeljunk Portable Series.

Infamous would actually be a great fit for Vita. Its a nice pick up and play game. And I can imagine using the touchscreen, tilt and backtouch for a few powers. Maybe even add co-op im this one and they can have a hit in their hands.

More like wish, why bother developing Warriors Lair when Diablo 3 is coming for Vita

Why develop Burning Skies when Call of Duty is coming?

It's just a guess, but I don't think it's that far fetched. We know Blizzard has been looking at a console version. We know Sony is more open to working with third party networks like Steam or Battle.Net. Diablo III would be a killer app for Vita. A portable Diablo III would be a pretty big boon for Blizzard, never mind the millions they can just sell on PS3. Plus, they're setting the table for an all you can eat money parade with the cash auction house, so it's in their interest to jack up the player base and increase player investment as much as they can. Diablo III in your pocket that isn't gimped by touch only controls on a phone would do that. Just seems like a license for everyone involved to print money.

What will Sony's actual E3 for Vita be like? Pretty dreadful I suspect.

It's more dreams than guesses, but I'd like to see them revive one of their classic platform games like Ape Escape or Jumping Flash(if that is a platform game..). There was a lot of creativity in those titles and they would be easy to expand upon without feeling too iterative.

I've just started playing the PSP version of Ape Escape and even though there are some flaws, specifically regarding the lack of a second analogue stick, the gadget integration feels like something that would lend itself well to show off the Vita and it would feel like the "gimmicks" belong there, unlike many other games, since it's a part of the series DNA.

But knowing market trends they'll probably announce another Killzone, Gran Turismo or God of War instead. Yawn.

So we know for sure we will get the following games shown at E3

Here are the games think that have a 50% chance to be shown
Tekken Tag 2 - all other fighters seem to have made it to Vita, hell 3DS is even getting a Tekken

Tekken 3D: Prime Edition is already out though.

Dragon Quest
Legend of Dragoon 2
Are two games that will not appear on the Vita.

I don't have high hopes but I have a feeling the Square offering will be Final Fantasy related and I'll probably end up getting it because what the hell else am I gonna play.

Damn, I would pay a lot for that.

It would not only be a great idea, but they can reuse assets from allpast MotorStorm games. Of course downport the assets from the PS3 games and up port the assets from PSP game. Burnout Legends did a similar thing, I can remember there were quite a lot of old Burnout tracks in Legends. It would give the game variety, from the muddy tracks from MS1 to lush tracks from MS2 to apocalyptic tracks from MS3 to icy tracks from MS:AE.

Here's my megaton prediction: Diablo III for Vita and PS3 with Battle.Net integration.

  • Like Portal 2, buy once get access to both Sony versions, and the PC version.
  • Play the same character across all 3 versions.
  • Special offline mode for Vita when out and about, but you can also check in on auctions and play co-op over 3G.

No way lol.

Sounds good. Vita is not cracked, so offline mode would be feasible.

I was expecting something like that to be one of the first games for Vita, and then we got RC :/ (which is ok, but not the same).

So yeah, i would love to play a "true" Vita Motorstorm.

I'm looking forward to getting real vita games and not just ports/vita version of the same games that the ps3 has, because I do not really want that.
The NEW AC game looks to be just that, I want more of that.

PSOne Classics Available for Vita soon as the Conference ends.
Obviously PS Plus benefits for Vita

Holding off PS1 emulation as a bullet point for E3 will likely annoy people. That shit should be out when it's ready, not held off as an announcement. People expected that shit months ago.

I prefer a mix of both. For example I'd rather have SFxT, COD, Need for Speed and etc to have the same multiplayer as console versions so I can share my friends and rankings between the 2 systems. Cross platform features are important to me. Of course with games like LittleBigPlanet and Assassins Creed I would prefer a completely original title tailored or the Vita. So I think SOny is doing the right thing by doing a mix of both.

Do you know that the studio that's making the game has been doing shovelware and ports? Don't raise your expectations too much.

Mac port of Rayman Raving Rabbids
Tech work (not design work) on TC's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
Chessmaster DS
PS3 Port of Prince of Persia Classic
Xbox 360 port of CSI 3 Dimensions of Murder

Argh, I don't even want to set myself up for disappointment! But I think we'll see:
- PSone Classics (finally)
- More downloadable/Vita-compatible PSP titles
- Hulu Plus/more "fluff" apps for Vita
- Final Fantasy X HD
- Final Fantasy Type-0
- Teasers of unannounced games

In my wildest dreams:
- Dragon's Crown
- Ports of Cave shmups
- New Jak & Daxter

Guerrilla's not-Killzone project could be for Vita (they did their own PSP game, obviously concentration is still on consoles but there's reason for them to invest in portables as well) or could be a cross-platform (or game-and-gaiden release) of both versions. I'm eager to see what they do next and am hopeful that portables are part of that plan since Killzone Liberation was so strong.

(BTW, correction oh what somebody mentioned earlier, Killzone Vita is NOT by Guerrilla; it's by Cambridge.)

and Folklore 2
..............
.....
..
.

;A;

folklore 2 posts making me cry

And it would perfect for a portable, too. We shall mourn together.

Locoroco Vita
Folklore 2*
e

i dare say that they should keep the shake-to-capture mechanic from the first one. i just need more folklore. poor gamerepublic.

Why do we keep doing this to ourselves?

;_;

And it would perfect for a portable, too. We shall mourn together.

indeed Vita can give full experience since it got sixaxis too and Monster catching games are popular (Digimon,Pokemon,Skylanders) hell even getting Folklore port on Vita add optional 4 players co-op to catch the big monster (like Monster Hunter) can be smart move for Sony.

and Folklore bombed mostly because the PS3 was $499 when it got released and PS3 was selling nothing, it wasn't Folklore fault it was PS3 price.

I am predicting:

-Grand Theft Auto Vita of some kind
-LocoRoco 3 with tilt controls
-New Media Molecule game for Vita (but also PS3)

Otherwise I expect more on a lot of stuff we know about like AC, Killzone, LBP, Sound Shapes and so on plus more PS3 games getting Vita versions like LBP Karting and Battle Royale. I'm sure CoD will be there, but I am unsure what it will be like.

If that's legit, and Sony actually treats it as a major reveal... Uh, wow. Could all three games really fit on an 8GB card, though?
Yeah, that would be a failure. Wow, we can get old, crappy games to play all over again.

It was recorded before the AC3: Liberation news broke and he mentions an AC3 game coming to Vita too and later there are other things he hints at but can't really talk about so he genuinely seems to know stuff.

Well GTA 3 on Android is less than 500mb so I'd say its possible.

I fucking hate you for putting that thought in my head. :)

But this would be sooooo, so so so nice.
