Yeah, we've already discussed this in the other thread. It's just a guesstimate and it may be way off due to the whole Early Access thing...
We'll have to wait a few more days before these trackers can get some reliable data from the steam API and also from the player reviews that have started coming in after yesterday's official launch.

Very unlikely. They're basing this estimate on concurrent players and early access players were still part of those.
