I checked all my Canadian online sources and they're all sold out. It sucks.Seth C said:Pre-order it! I only pre-ordered this afternoon and mine already says "Warehouse" just like everyone else. You can pre-order anytime before the 3rd, and I bet if you did it now yours would go out at the same time as all the others.
Yeah IDK my order has been saying warehouse since likenoon yesterday, no tracking number.D3VI0US said:Oooohh! What if we get it early! I can't wait!

This new guitar sucks.
The body with the strummer is larger, and the shaft is shorter. WHY!? Remember that loading screen joke about not wearing your guitar higher than your belt? I pretty much had to suck it up and do that at Best Buy; otherwise the body would lean too far down and leave the strum bar out of reach.
The new locations for the strap are also pointless (they force the strap into the shape of an arc around your back instead of your shoulders).
Finally - maybe this was just the "Best Buy" effect, but I had a lot more trouble with strumming in Beast and the Harlot. The sound from the TV completely drowned out the "clicking" sounds of the strum bar.
The Gibson SG model blows this Xplorer model out of the water.

That'll be better for me then, I have to proctor an exam monday morning.plagiarize said:monday? i thought this was street dated for Tuesday?
I thought Garnett had mentioned, on the 1up Yours podcast a couple weeks ago, that the new Xplorer guitar actually felt noticably better --- as in more comfortable and responsive?Beaulieu said:Please someone proove that man wrong, if he's right I will cry

Anecdotal retelling of subjective opions ftw!
Emowii said:This kinda sucks. My order has been showing as "warehouse" since yesterday, and i've recieved no email saying it's shipped. So i'm wondering what the deal is. If it doesn't ship today i'm gonna be pissed, as that would mean I won't have mine til Tuesday, or Wednesday.
I also sent them an email asking when it would ship, and that was 20 hours ago. Apparantly this company doesn't do things real quickly. :/

We typically answer Support Requests within 2 Business Days
No, actually 2 days is still a ridiculous turn around time for an EMAIL. It doesn't really matter that they tell me ahead of time that it could take 2 days.Goreomedy said:Apparently you're blinded by Guitar Hero Fever and can't read:

borghe said:so is it safe to try and sell my GH1 + GH2 + two PS2 guitars for this?
ElyrionX said:Umm, no it's not. Considering how easy it is to f ire off an email these days, they probably get tons of email every single day. You can't expect a relatively small company to have a battalion of employees sitting there waiting to answer your emails. The "turn around time" is not ridiculous here, only your expectations are.

No, my point was that they clearly have them ready to ship in the warehouse on Tuesday, and therefore I really don't understand why they weren't shipped on Tuesday. It would piss me of if they just took two or three days to get around to shipping the pre-orders.Beaulieu said:You mean you will receive it ONLY on the launch day ? Don't stress about it, dude. I spent a good amount of time with it at Best Buy and was extremely satisfied with the 360 guitar.PedroLumpy said:I am so scared right now, I plan on passing off my GH & GH2 + guitars to a buddy, since in theory I will have a superior version. For Red Octane to ship our product promptly after it has been prepared in their warehouse.Beaulieu said:I dont know what the hell you guys are expecting...

ORLY?whatdidyousay said:Um, I'm just expecting them to send me what I've already paid them for. Some orders have already shipped, so I'm expecting them to ship mine sometime soon.
They're expecting to get the game early, but I'm not really sure why. I'm guessing that at this point, they're packaging orders as they come in, readying them in their warehouse(s), and shipping them out according to the locations they're going to. Someone who lives across the country might have theirs shipped today, whereas someone who lives right next door might not have theirs shipped until Friday/Monday. The game has a pretty firm release date, and it looks like they're sticking to that.Beaulieu said:I dont know what the hell you guys are expecting...
darkressurection said:ORLY?
Who's orders have shipped?
Probably because the pre-ordering page on Red Octane's site stated that you might end up getting the game "before, on, or after" the release date. The were the ones who suggested it was possible to get the product early.vatstep said:They're expecting to get the game early, but I'm not really sure why.
whatdidyousay said:Didn't Benjamin Birdie's order say shipped? Or some CAG members were saying the same thing I think. Some people on the East Coast who ordered and selected ground shipping have had their orders shipped already because it'll take longer to get here.
