I saw an advert on TV before leaving the house, it was for, what looked like, a mobile version of Guitar Hero.

Just checked the website, it's a clone of Guitar Hero for mobile phones by Gameloft. Most of the songs are the same as in Guitar Hero, I think the tracks are just MIDI files. It's obvious Harmonix had nothing to do with this.

I hate it when companies do this.

I played it, it kinda sucks, it is pretty much 123 are the middle ones, then 4 and 6 are the outside ones, no strumming, its just pressing.

and just because, there are also versions of Beatmania and Pop n Music on cellphones, but not in america.

yes, I think so atleast, I played it a few days ago on a friends phone. I think I played Smoke on the Water.

There is a GH coming for mobiles though, I remember hearing U2 would be in it.

that seems way too slow compared to what I played, and when I played it made you hit all 5 going across and it was annoying with the phones buttons.
