Gundam will ruin my life (and my wallet)

Yeah, Sangokushi Taisen 2 rocks. I actually play it a lot. I'm doing a write-up of Gundam right now (since it's more popular in the West) but afterwards I'm totally writing up ST2. IMO it's way btter than Gundam.

If I could actually sit down with a deck and try it out without being owned by japanese regulars, I may agree with you.

I really really want to try it out.

Yeah just watching people playing sangokushi taisen is crazy as hell. It looks a lot deeper than Gundam. Unfortunately it is so fast paced my reading skills really can't keep up with it.

Plus like Trin said, I would just be fighting an uphill battle against expert players the entire time...

What I did to get used to the game was to play in the morning when no one was there... that way I was able to get the basics down. i still get majorly, majorly owned by all of the Japanese players, but sometimes I can give them a run for their money. :) I've only one two games though :(

I might have to stick to Power Smash 3

Yeah I actually try to do that with Gundam. Me and Trin did beat a Japanese guy in it today. He was teaching his son to play the game actually, which I thought was great. Too bad he challenged me ;) I originally thought the kid was playing and felt kinda bad
proud ;p
. But then thetrin said the kid was just watching.

I am leaving japan soon so I don't really want to get into another card game. Maybe when I get back in a year they will still be here :)
