Guy awkwardly video tapes random people

Am I the only one who thinks this is social critique on how surveillance cameras are everywhere nowadays and he's shoving his camera in people's faces to make them realize?

probably giving him too much credit

That's what I first thought as well. Funny videos, and he's making a great point as well.

Lets be real here, sometimes people deserved to be punched in the face. The world isn't magic rainbows and happy la la land like you pretend. Our grandfathers punched people, and our grandchildren will do it. Shit happens, don't be a fucking idiot and you won't get punched.

How stupid.

I don't understand how come everybody has such a problem with being filmed? You're just going about your business, you're just a regular ass person, you aren't up to no good. Getting angry at a guy sticking a camera in your face seems like an IRL version of feeding the trolls. Wouldn't it be easier to beat them by just carrying on like they weren't there?

Because people don't want to be filmed by strangers. They just want to get on with their lives and their work, not be harassed and end up on Youtube or some other website.

Genuine question: What if some random person parked out a kindergarten and started filming kids. Would you still say that it's perfectly legal?

People are way too sensitive.
Why not just carry on, maybe even have a conversation with the guy?
The part where he disturbed classes, however, was wrong.

On an interesting note. They should do the same with a girl holding the camera.
Would be very interesting to see the contrast of reactions, if there is any.

Yeah, the videos have 'Surveillance Camera' in the name and he says that there are camera watching everyone in the videos, but only you have thought of that.

I honestly find you guys saying you want to attack him more creepy than what he's doing.

The entire thing is worth it just for this .gif.

This guy proves that you can behave in a perfectly legal manner and still be an enormous fucking asshole. I'll feel no pity when someone inevitably punches him in the face.

Also don't punch people in the face.

Hurr durr
It wasn' brought up in the thread before I posted
Everyone was just going on about how he is a troll

Agreed.

Guy filming is a complete asshole but this is still an interesting test of a person's backbone or social confidence... Personally i wouldn't know what the fuck to do if this happened to me, i'd probably just act awkwardly and slink away. Other people seem to handle it much better eg. "fuck you and the horse you rode in on!" guy

LOL, that would be hilarious, at least if she was hot. So many dudes would be tripping over themselves trying to hit on her due to massive ego inflation. This guy needs to get on that ASAP.

He is quite clearly trying to provoke people. Considering people ask him politely (most of the time) to stop filming yet he still doesn't. He is looking for a reaction, not sending a message. He is hardly going on about his 'message', he mentions that there are CCTV cameras 1 or 2 times. It's borderline harassment.

The guy deserves grade A knuckle sandwich. I'd prefer not be the one to do it since I have more to lose than others but like I said, I'm not sure how I'd react if this guy approached me. Maybe joke it off, maybe film him, but maybe.. just maybe if he keeps pushing me, poking me with a stick I might just bite.
Sounds just like rape culture.

"She was asking for it!"

This is really amusing. I want more of these; I feel like doing this myself, but I'd probably be harshly assaulted in the vicinity. It reminds me of John Benjamin. If I were doing the filming I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face, though.

He even looks like a dumb fuck! That last guy in part 2 was hilarious. It was gold when the cameraman walked into the restaurant to ask if something had happened.

wtf is going on at 2:15 in the 2nd video lol

That part made me uncomfortable. The girl is being dragged away by security? The big lady that tells him not to film is wearing typical security wear but the two guys look like two guys. Nobody seemed to care.

Yeah, I imagine those people didn't make it in his videos for that reason.

"The respect to other people's rights is peace”. Don't be surprised when peace is disrupted because of your useless, rude, invasive 'social experiments'.

Yep, he would definitely eat the camera. Hate people like this and have zero sympathy for whatever happens to them.

He's not filming you in the shower - why people can't just ignore him and walk on is beyond me. I'm guessing most people actually do since he doesn't film a lot of people.

This is.... awesome. Especially because it isn't some creeper shit where they don't know he's taking the video. People's reactions, priceless. This guy's brain either has a tiny brain ora massive pair of balls.

He is knowingly being obnoxious and making people uncomfortable. I'll return the favor. Not everyone in life is simply going to try to ignore or walk away from your silly antics, and he would find that out.

This guy puts videos of random people on youtube, Google is getting commercial transactions out of filming strangers without consent.
That only applies if he is part of the YT program, no? Not sure what they call it, but he isn't a member of that so no monetary gain.

He's certainly a dick to some people, others not so much, but either way it puts forth some interesting questions.. I'm sure there are people who would think that this is even worse than creepshots. :lol

Oh no, not him. Google. If Google is getting money because of views (and they're getting it), how is it different from blurring people's faces on street view? Makes no sense.

I think if he did this stuff without a camera people would be pissed off in most of the same situations, like sitting down next to a guy at a cafe and staring at him, or watching someone eat through a restaurant window, or opening the door to a private class and just staring in.

I'm pretty sure any YT account has the option "monetize this video" in the video manager. I have that and I have an extremely minor "channel" that I don't upload to.

Your personal space is your house, not outside.
I disagree. You can't only be threatened in your house. Your personal space is your body, if you're getting close to someone's body in a threatening, combative and conflictive manner you are bound to eventually know someone more dangerous than yourself, that's when you'll cry and ask yourself why is the world such a cruel place? But hey, creep all you want, I'm sure the world will benefit greatly from your videos.

And you didn't answer the question. Why can't he ignore people? Why do we have to submit to his will and mental illness?

You don't have to submit to anything. As I said, you walk on and ignore him, turning it into a physical confrontation will only make things worse.
